What is the opposite of reaction; is it response?

This is a republished article from June 26, 2013… So please don’t get alarmed… this didn’t just happen. It happened long time ago. But the message is as timely as ever…

What is the opposite of reaction; is it response? Is it pro-active? Prepare to be surprised…
Gurus and even psychologists give lip service to not being reactive.
They say it’s the ego’s way to take over your life. They suggest that you respond. They don’t know what they are talking about, and you, the client, suffer as a result.

Are my articles hard to understand?

I have been having a difficult time writing enough about any one topic to finish one article… Meaning I have six articles started, and can’t or won’t finish them.

What’s going on?

I am afraid.

That’s new FEARLESS Sophie, tell me more?

Some of the things that are being shown to me recently are polarizing. Dividing people. Will make some, maybe many people angry.
The truth hurts. And when something hurts, it is natural to go to victim mode, effect mode, and point a blaming finger at someone. At me.
So I have been cowardly, and have been sitting on the fence.

But today I think I’ll overcome the inertia, and say what there is to say.

OK, it’s about vibration, capacities, and what you can get or not get, what you can use, what is going to work for you or not, depending on your numbers.
Most of us live on a level and in a position in life where we are fairly competent.
Then, according to the Peter Principle, some of us are moved to a level where you are incompetent, especially in organizations, and you suffer.

You either become competent on your new level, or you keep on suffering.

To avoid being challenged we tend to remain at a place, in a position, where we are competent.
And yet, we want more from life, than the place, the position, our competency can give us.
We dream. We imagine. We watch people who have more, do more, and we want that.

To go from one level to the next level is arduous. It is much like going from elementary school level to college level without going through high school… four years in most countries.

But we don’t think that. We think we can put ourselves in a college classroom, and catch up.

I see that everywhere, with many of the people who I am in contact with, people I can observe.
Doing the work to raise your vibration is college level, maybe even graduate studies level work.
You are sitting in a college classroom with an elementary school education. Most of the things I say you miss. 90% minimum. Most of you miss it all.

You blame it on me… maybe. But I ask you a question: can you imagine a college professor teaching college level material effectively in high school? I can’t.
The program I use in my 67-steps coaching program, is the high school level education that you missed.
The more you think you have it, the less it can fill the gaps for you.

Just as in architecture there is no building the top floor before the foundation, there is no jumping in knowledge.

Unless the new piece has a chance to attach and be supported by already there knowledge. Here is what Charlie Munger has to say about it: “You may have noticed students who just try to remember and pound back what is remembered. Well, they fail in school and in life. You’ve got to hang experience on a latticework of models in your head.” — Charlie Munger (self-made billionaire entrepreneur and investor)
I missed a semester in architecture school due to being hospitalized, and I could never catch up. I was t

What is the technology of personal evolution…

I have said, in another article, that what is “normal” for a vehicle for the selfish gene (a human), is to move to and then stay in an ess.

Evolutionary stable strategy. Where life works relatively smoothly.
If you listen to the genes, you’ll live that way, you live in an ess.
Your job, your family, your health, your thinking are all in an ess… You don’t grow, you survive. You get up in the morning because you didn’t die the night before. It is probably boring, and you are probably sick, dumb, and poor. Or maybe not. It pretty much depends on what you start with.

That is how most people live, and it has a pull that is very strong.

You don’t rock the boat. You make do. You may do stupid things, and they likely take you downwards, towards gravity.

Now, it is obvious that this is not the path of creating epigenetic shifts toward living a life worth living. Not for me, not for the spirit, not for the soul. It is the ideal life for the selfish gene.

But Life wants more life, and the ess way of living results in less life.

You probably don’t know yourself as well as you think you do

You think you know. You think you know who you are, what is important to you, what you want, and what and who is running your life.

This is your approach towards life. Through what you know…

That man is reading a book, a real book, on subway. Funny

Excerpts from the Book That Man Is Reading on the Subway

By Eva Victor

This is a funny companion piece to all the articles that talk about pretending and status. Laughing out loud funny… to me.
Preface
Welcome, Bearded Man with a Slouchy Beanie Riding the Subway. You are reading me, a book. I am the reason that everyone in this train car is looking at you. They are curious—a young man reading a book, in this day and age? He must have a good heart, they think. Your literary fluency is attractive, they decide. They imagine that you will sweep them off their feet with poems about soft lips, though, in reality, you haven’t brushed your teeth for longer than forty seconds since high school. If only they knew that you were reading this book, a placeholder book, to convince other people that you are reading.
Chapter 1: A Celebration Is in Order
You’ve made it to the first chapter, which means that you’ve turned one page. Time to celebrate this lofty achievement.
Chapter 4: A Good Chuckle on Behalf of the Fools
Ha! Despite this current attempt to gain the respect of commuting strangers, in your regular life, you are barely able to string a sentence together without betraying your stupidity. Most of what you say are the regurgitated opinions of your co-worker (and longtime Frisbee enthusiast) Benj. But no one on this train needs to know that. Here, you are the man who knows how to enjoy literature and probably loves his mother a lot, but not too much.
Chapter 7: You Are Getting Away with This
Blah blah blah blah. See? You’re technically reading! Who needs real books, anyway, now that you’ve got this meta book that’s convincing everyone that you’re on a quest to find the perfect tree trunk to lean up against? Sure, the truth is that you haven’t done laundry in two months because “the bank is far and no one else has quarters.” But forget that! You are getting away with this whole book thing. Maybe you should be a professor. A books professor.
Chapter 8: A History of Your Ignorance
It’s time to admit that the only book you’ve ever finished is “The Catcher in the Rye.” How incredible that the one protagonist you’re able to relate to is Holden Caulfield, a sad rich boy.
Chapter 12: An Actionable Step
Turn the page.
Chapter 13: A Commemoration of Your Action
Good work when you turned that page just now. You are surely convincing everyone. Smile benevolently. Now back to work.
Chapter 18: The Pivotal Moment
You can feel the eyes of a woman with wispy bangs, who is most likely an influencer, on you. Now, this is very important: act as if you are reading. Make sure that your eyes dart from left to right, fast enough to convince her that you are a seasoned reader but not so fast that your reading looks fake. This book is proving to be a true Cyrano de Bergerac, a character with whom you are, of course, unfamiliar.
Chapter 23: The Illusion of a Thought
Look away. Sigh once. Now look at these words again. The girl who loves non-milk milk wi

Are you being used?

Lots of people, women and men, have a feeling that they are just placeholders or commodities for their friends or lovers.

Even coaches and gurus can have that feeling: actually this is what lead me to start this article.

Whenever I have a question about someone, or have time, I look up the online profiles of people that want to become a student of mine.

So I looked up someone today who has been a student, on and off for about two years now. I have had mixed feeling about her, so I looked her up.

If it is NOT beauty, truth or goodness that inspires you

A higher state of being, a higher state of consciousness is when you are touched, moved, and inspired…
Let’s look at the word inspired first
People are writing to me claiming that they get touched, weepy from certain values. But when you look at their lives, that is an experience that does NOT inform their lives, only their eyes… Or maybe their ego, their mind?

What is inspired?

How to access the invisible so you can have more power in your life?

It’s Saturday. The only reason I know it is Saturday because tomorrow I’ll have the first session of Version 2 of the muscle testing course.

And I am afraid. Normal. Anything new, anything threatening with unexpected unknowns creates fear. Normal.

So I stayed in semi-sleep mode an hour longer than my normal getup time… Looking.

I looked at all the relevant invisible elements of my life, to see where I can influence this fear… and how. Not that fear is bad… but I prefer life with less fear.
