Heaven or hell… same place, same people… the difference is your self-talk

The opposite of Life is a conversation is you living in a world of object, being an object. An object. Ugh. I don’t want to be an object. But if you look, you ARE treated as an object, by nearly everyone nearly all the time.

People don’t look at YOU, they look at your body, your clothes, your hair… but not YOU.

I participated in a week long training some years ago, and the slogan of the training was “I see you”. And I remember people getting teared up from hearing that.

That is the human condition: people tearing up when they are seen as a person, as an individual… as opposed to the norm: seen as an object to use, to abuse, to blame, to push around.

Soaring together… a dream

I am having second thoughts about sharing this information, because of what famous French novelist Stendhal said about love… and the fragility of love…
I made a dietary mistake on Monday. You know, the kind your voices scream in your head: ‘you only live once’… or maybe the way Madame de Pompadour said, lover of the French king Louis XV ‘Après moi, le deluge!’ After me the flood… sloppy translation but you can get the gist… f*** it, I want to do what I want to do even if it destroys the earth… or my health.

Can’t learn? Won’t learn? Is that how you keep yourself stuck in life?

I am still struggling with having something or anything to say. Now I have the energy, but don’t have the … what?

What don’t I have, and why is that important to know what it is that you don’t have?

The number one need of people, I say, is the desire to make a difference.

But when I say “make a difference” I don’t mean the big flashy things, like Bill Gates curing malaria… I mean being wanted to be there. That you are not refused.

Cain killed Abel in the Bible, because god accepted Abel’s sacrifice, but not his. He, Cain, got furious, and killed who he could killed, Abel.
Feeling refused, feeling not wanted is the cause of the biggest pain, and unfortunately people carry that in their unconscious for the length of their lives.

Two rules of engagement and a condition…

Ever since last Saturday I have been observing myself putting myself down, devaluing myself. Telling people I am not such a good coach, etc. etc. etc.

I know what happened. I know exactly.

I watched this guy’s videos, I read his testimonials, I heard his superior facility to guide people and take them where he wanted them to go. I watched his 24/7 tireless enthusiasm to turn marginally interested people into fans. And I compared.

I compared.

How Can This Simple Exercise Be The Ticket To Happiness? To Achievement? To Passion?

I wrote this article more than four years ago. I assigned this simple exercise to about a hundred people, and to my dismay, all failed.

I discovered two days ago why… and now I can start teaching it again, and see if it is a lack of capacity, or a lack of intention that causes the failure.

Why am I so persistent in teaching something no one wants to do? Because, as you’ll find out, it is both a test and a spiritual practice that can take you to beingness, the dominion of heaven. I’ll add what I have newly discovered where it is needed, in italics and in the footnotes, below the article.

In this article I introduce a simple exercise that if you are willing to do, consistently, you will be able to accomplish a whole lot, probably more than any meditation program by itself. It does two things:

it takes you out of your head (what other exercise does that? Heh?) My bad: it turned out that getting out of your head requires a capacity in your DNA to be turned on, and most people don’t have it turned on… I can turn on the capacity for you. I also have a recorded workshop to teach you all the intricacies of that capacity: that capacity is the gatekeeper between being a human and being a human being. Available only this week…
The Detached workshop teaches you to step back

Emotional Maturation vs Cluelessness

This article took me a long time to write, and it is so-so… It’s a difficult topic… It’s about being Clueless. The why and the how and the “now what?” And the WTF…

Once a coach of mine said: “you don’t have to be more than 5% better than others to stand out… and become a winner.” He also said: “You Don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.”

You don’t think you are clueless… You say you are confused, you don’t understand, you didn’t hear it… but clueless? No, that you don’t even consider.

But we, all of humanity are clueless… with some clues that are lead us to pay attention to what we know, and not to worry about what we don’t. And this is true across all strata of humanity, including scientists, smart people, ignorant people… everyone.

Why?

What is the secret to joy? To a joy-full life?

How much joy do you have in your life?
I learned to ask this question from Dr. Popper… whose videos are my 20-day learning challenge.

Each video is about an hour long, I listen at 1.5x speed, because time is money. This speed still allows me to ponder and listen at the same time.

I am a fast listener: I don’t go to my mind to compare, to negate, to argue. I listen and ponder.

I turn what I hear into gold. This is one of my principles in life: to put all power in all actions… to turn everything I do into gold. Or into Life… which is the same. Praiseworthy. Excellent. Valuable.

Here is what Tai Lopez says about this

4 daily tasks… a revolutionary tool to happiness

4 daily tasks: not what you need to do. instead what you see you can do for a future you decided to have.

In my case the future: being able to pick up and move countries without loss of productivity, loss of health, loss of income, loss of standard of living. Having an apartment, food, transportation, internet connection, mobile phone… the important things.

The four daily tasks are really a very useful tool.
An aside: what is a task? Anything that you can do in one sitting, not long enough even to have to get up to go to the bathroom. Even writing an article is a project that is made up of several tasks… idea, outlining, writing, editing, title, publishing. It may include even researching…

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?

The other day it occurred to me that the Precious ‘I’ I have been talking about is just another name for vanity.

But vanity is a loaded word, while Precious ‘I’ has some compassion in it, it can be measured, everyone can relate to it, so it is less denied out of hand.

Because when you want to see yourself, be self-aware, you want to avoid the words that condemn.

Or in some cases using those words is your m.o., modus operandi, to keep it up, because you make it sound that you have nothing to say in the matter.

And having something to say in the matter is all the magic you need: you can tweak it, understand it, sympathize with it, and win.

Reading… Connecting the dots… why can’t you?

Why is it that in spite of all the reading, all the studying, all the classes you take, you are not amounting to much, to as much as you feel you should have earned?

And no matter how many people suggest that reading a book a week is good for you… it may do nothing for you… I have seen that with my students… and while writing yesterday’s article, the “April 1… joy-full life” article, I saw it again.

The way you do things, the way you read, learn, etc. doesn’t create connections between the things you see, the things you learn, the things you read.

When we talk, maybe you can connect the dots, i.e. you are capable of integration: seeing that two seemingly disparate concepts connect, they are part of the same thing, or they are in fact the same thing.

But only when I point it out to you.
