Entitlement, entitled, deserving… do you get what you deserve?

What is the opposite of entitled?

This question around entitlement is asked on google thousands times a day, and the trend is that this number is growing steadily.

Other words that express this same entitlement are deserve and deserving.

Entitled means: believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.

Inherently means: in a permanent, essential, or characteristic way… as if it were a Law of Life, or a Natural Law, like gravity.

It is an INHERENTLY alien concept to life and reality.

Overwhelm Paralysis, or No matter what I do…

I have been sitting here mired in sadness, despair… the mind feverishly looking for reasons to feel this way.

Evil in the world. Low vibration. No love… but this is true always, so what is special about now that is now miring me… enveloping me, making my stomach tighten, and my heart hurt.

It’s 10 o’clock, and the mailman comes at 11 am… I have a package to send out. A student of mine generously decided to buy something from me, instead of the open market. I am grateful, but I am scared.

Am I going to be able to ship it to her?

I finally open my postage software, and find out the postage rules for different size packages.

The invisible phenomenon of the unintegrated self…

This is a philosophical article, but at some point it is practical: it talks to your concerns, so it is worth your reading. This article will be, also, proof that all writing is re-writing. Now that I written the first draft, I can rewrite it, so it can get better… that is how life works.

Fully understanding the philosophical aspects is not a requirement, although it  did me good to write those down.
OK, here is the body of this article: I have come to new insights this morning: the phenomenon of the unintegrated self…
James Allen said in the beginning of the 20th Century:
“Suffering is always the effect of wrong thoughts in some direction. It is an indication that the individual is out of harmony with himself, with the law of his being. The circumstances which a man encounters with suffering are the result of his own mental inharmony. Man has but to right himself to find the universe is righted. Let a man radically alter his thoughts and he will be astonished at a rapid transformation it will effect on the material conditions of his life.” ~ James Allen ~ As a Man Thinketh.
Of course his work and this quote has been used for wrong… to promote the “mind power” movement, that, not accidentally, never distinguished what is mind, and therefore neither did its adherents, Law of Attraction people, T. Harv Eker, and other bs. artists and shysters.

OK, let’s start with what is integrated, what is unintegrated, so we can at least hope that we are talking the same language.

Case study: Disappearing your racket?

I have been complaining that my bills are higher than my income.

Now, complaining is the tip of the iceberg, the visible part, that indicates an iceberg underneath, under the water level… the kind of iceberg that sunk the might Titanic.

For the most part we ignore our complaints… whining, we may call them. Sissy, we may call ourselves. Cruel, we call the world. But paying attention? No, that we don’t do.

Why? I am not sure. I have some guesses, but your guess is probably as good as mine… as far as guesses go.

So I have decided to observe myself… after all there must be a benefit in living with myself… right? lol.

The tumbleweed or the invisible dynamic of a life worth living

There are two opposing ways of being that individually each is out of step with Life… unless they join forces… The tumbleweed
My Playground course is designed to bring the participants back to pre organized-religion times, where being in sync, being in harmony, being in step with Life is natural and not a sin.

But it is a B-i-t-c-h to teach.

Why? Because “The chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.”

There are two kinds of complaints.

The first one you probably don’t know very well: this is the complaint that intends to move all concerned towards resolution. There is a commitment in the background to resolve the complaint, and remove it from existence.

I’ll talk more about it later, but for completion’s sake…

…let’s see the second kind of complaint. I call it idle complaint.

The tyranny of the pursuit of happiness

More books are sold on happiness than maybe even on dieting… especially because 98% diet books’ hidden attraction is happiness.

Weird, eh?

I have read my share of the books on happiness, of all kinds of psychologies, philosophies, and just inane silliness in articles, TED talks, youtube videos…

In my humble opinion no one is willing to shout out that the emperor is naked. that our desire for happiness is what causes this sea of unhappiness we are all swimming in.

Why can’t you copy the same exact thing a billionaire does, and get the same result?

What is the difference between people who make a lot of money, and people who don’t,
people who have good family life, and people who don’t,
people who have good health and people who don’t?

I watched a video on which a dude played the same exact tunes on three different violins.

The link to the video was on Digg, and the editor said that they, in Digg’s office, didn’t hear much difference.

I did. One violin’s sound brought tears to my eyes… it was so incredibly resonant, and beautiful.

Getting Everything You Can Out Of All You’ve Got…

The culture of Approximately

It’s taken millions, maybe even billions of years to evolve into a species that is 99% corrupted into believing that to get something it is enough to wish to.

For me this was invisible for a long time…

The first glimpse I got was when I first heard about satsang… a group of devotees sitting around a dude or dudette and attempt to absorb their whatever… vibration, peace, knowledge… all things that you cannot fully absorb, because they need to be worked for.

My parents weren’t wearing those distorting glasses.

3 reasons you aren’t doing what you say you will do

You can learn nearly anything on the internet if you know how to learn.

And yet, if you look, people don’t learn much, don’t do much, and the momentary excitement, the big promises die almost as fast as they were born, leaving the promiser frustrated, and puzzled why they can’t keep their word, and actually do what they said they would do.
