Mastery? Nobody got time for dat! the 8 billion’s attitude

This article will be about mastery… and the path to it…

Mastery is a missing distinction… as if really ‘aint nobody got time for that’. It is so missing that people don’t even hear me saying it. It is up with the idea of distinction… nobody hears that either.

But why are people not hearing me? So this article is going on a hunt, hunt not for Red October, but for the stuff that blocks even hearing… Ready? Let’s go.

Here is a ‘podcast’ I did back in 2018 right after I broke my left wrist…

Two years ago I took on going for mastery in writing articles. I spent a few thousand dollars on all kinds of training. Courses, books, newsletters. A few days ago I had to ponder if I was boring people. I wrote about it…

I got an email next morning from Hawaii.
Mahalo.. yes receiving them [your emails]… ??????
I am sure they are not boring.. you have great intelligence so [you] think and say stuff people aren’t open yet to …
I look forward to reading your articles.
She is pointing to a possible reason I sound boring to people. Or why people don’t hear a word I say. Why they ignore what I say.

One of my most visited articles is about speaking butterfly language AT caterpillars.

I am not sure who reads that article. Whether it is the self-appointed butterflies, or the caterpillars…

Often the people with the golden tongue are dabblers too. Dabblers, because they think they have achieved the peak. So they stopped climbing.
There is something beautiful that very few people ever experience. And that is mastery.
Mastering something. Consciously… not by accident.

I have had that experience, getting to mastery, with a number of things, and I am experiencing the lack of it in many more areas.

I know the difference, so I strive for mastery.

Sometimes I don’t know if it is available, and yet I am going for it.

Pit that against every single person I encounter: they just do things. Maybe even get things done. And they move to the next thing with their eyes on whatever…

You could call it perfectionism, but it’s not that.

Mastery is a process, and therefore you can always be measured on that scale wherever you are.
Perfectionism is a black and white, pregnant not pregnant thing… a thing is either perfect or not perfect. No scale.

You can get to mastery in anything life related. I endeavor mastering a lot of things… even though I am a shut-in. And I don’t leave the house any further than about a hundred yards in each direction. I am old and weak…

And I don’t have a car. Or a bicycle… lol.
When I had a car I didn’t even have thoughts of mastery… I was more like a dabbler, moving from things to things.
Why? What does a car have to do with mastery or the lack of pursuit of it?

This morning I suddenly saw that for mastery you have to have a vision. You have to have patience. You have

Information is worthless. Knowledge is on the other side

Knowledge is where? It is on the other side of a river… you need a bridge.

A very painful fact OF LIFE triggered today’s article. The fact that information doesn’t readily translate to an improvement in your life, in your results.

I have called this phenomenon several different names for the past 30 years.

The thing/idea doesn’t have legs… I would say. And anything that doesn’t have legs cannot move… unless, of course, they are a snake, or a fish, but you get the gist, don’t you?

A fish cannot learn to climb a tree, but you likely can…

Are you climbing the tree of life or are you stuck?

If you think that learning what is written in a book, said in a video, in a lecture, you never learn.

Those words, those happenings, those pictures are only food for thought, and if you are not capable for independent thought, contemplation, then no your kind of learning, no reading, no books, no videos, no classes can and will help you in anything.

Is it that you can’t? Source says: no. You can’t. And you won’t.

The question is: why?

Hate me as much as you want. Call me a bore. Call me repetitive.
It is because…

Emotional intelligence is the most important intelligence

I originally wrote this article in 2017. Not much has changed since then, but I had new insights. So instead of writing a new article, I am updating this one.

In your starting point measurements, 37 out of the 48 measures depend on your emotional intelligence, and if I want to be quite truthful, even your health number largely depends on your EQ as well. So in a roundabout way, in the Starting Point Measurements I test your emotional intelligence and all the ways it manifests.

“You cannot talk butterfly language with caterpillar people”

Many of my visitors fancy themselves butterflies…

When I do their Starting Point Measurements they are caterpillars… with a big ego. With a sky high self-image. A delusional Self above the clouds.

This video is about creating high vibration so you can have what you want, not just a big ego:

Find out more about this magic manifestation method >>>
Please note that they don’t ask for their vibrational reading because they want to know… no. they already KNOW that they are the special butterfly people… When they get their results, they tell me I was wrong, or a fraud, or evil, or whatever. They post on social media. Create a website just to tell everybody how wrong I am.

The behavior, the attitude always gives your real vibration away. For example vengeance, like the woman with Dean as husband… the vibration of that behavior is 70. Nothing wrong, I used to have an even lower vibration… it is not fixed… you can start where you are.

Why would I recommend against thinking yourself butterfly? What may be wrong with that attitude? Doesn’t it make you happy?

No. Your internal tension is probably unbearable… and it’s killing you. How many ways?

Several ways, in fact.
1. If you think you are on the top of the third floor, for example, you’ll want to go higher, or bask in the glory of being on the third floor.
But every interaction you’ll have will be misdirected.

What is the opposite of courage? It’s not fear, it is…

There are two main ways to live. It is the closest to black or white I have found in nature.

Living things that have their eyes in the front… the predators that go ahead and discover, that live through risk. And prey animals, that are hunted and killed for food.

Of course humans want to be very smart, so they added the categories: philanthropist and supporter, but in this b/w categorization philanthropists and supporters are also prey animals.

So what? you could ask, but there is something important to know here:

Quotes to help you through life’s ups and downs

You can live your life through quotes: No matter who you are… this is true for you.

The first quote is from Landmark Education:
‘It is not the past, not even the present that gives you your mood. It is the future you live into’
So let’s begin the article guided by quotes.
‘The story of our lives consists of setting and pulling up anchors. For both the time will come.’ ~ Dr Peter Popper, psychologist
In my experience we humans are reluctant to do either: setting or pulling up anchors.
Tai Lopez says that

‘a mistake is an experiment gone too long’.

Mulling things over or contemplating… which is better?

What is the difference between mulling something over and contemplating?

A lot of people asked Dr. Peter Popper what it takes to be as knowledgeable is he is. His answer is: reading. And then contemplate over what you read. And then reading more. Contemplate more.

Contemplating means to think about, to LOOK thoughtfully for a long time at something. Instead of what most people do prejudge, or judge the thing. Or even simply just understand.
Contemplating makes you expand mentally.
You rebuild your worldview, you rebuild your view of the world when you do it rightly.

Understanding is always fitting something in the limited knowledge you have, not expanding it, not what Life or an author meant. Near worthless.

Instead of reading and contemplating, most people mull things over in their minds… after they judged it as right or wrong.

One is mulling things over… while the other is contemplating over what one read, what one saw.
One leads to more of the same… the other leads to an expanded view of everything.
Or digging your heels in. Digging yourself deeper into a ditch… the other is playing and climbing mountains.
The one is guided by a certainty that you are right and others are wrong… the other leads to inner peace.
Physiologically the one is tight cone of vision, and the eye doesn’t move. The other the cone of vision is relaxed, wider, and the eyes move to follow some idea, but don’t get stuck.
Emotionally the one is a threat where all you can do is dig in and resist… while the other is quite pleasant, like an adventure.

At the root of it, what it boils down to is this: how much you think the thing is about you. How much it effects you.

I track people on my calls, and watch what they do, where they go. And how long they stay there. And what brings them out, if anything.
Ultimately people who cannot or won’t contemplate, who can only mull things over cannot get out of their own way.
What does it mean that you cannot get out of your own way?

How and why are you in your own way to begin with?

From Psychology Today:
Getting out of your own way means being with who you are, moment to moment, whether you like it or not. Whether or not it’s easy or comfortable, familiar or disturbing. And then creating from that place.
From Quora:
It means that your habits, behavior, feelings, personal problems, etc. are stopping you from being successful. You need to change these things so your life will become better.
But what exactly is in your own way?
Here it is, simply: you are taking things personally. And personally you want to be right, you want to look good, you want to avoid domination, and you want to justify, explain… so you don’t have to change anything.
You insist that you are right, that you have always been right, and what you think about yourself and about the world is

Is it luck, is it talent, the result of something else?

The difference between a wild animal and the ‘modern man’ and his domesticated animals is how they see their role in what they have.

Modern man is more like his domesticated partners: they feel they depend on something or other to have sustenance, roof over their head, and someone to take care of them.

So from this vantage point wild animals are higher in consciousness than ‘modern man’. They know that unless they seek out sustenance, roof, etc. it won’t happen.

What if integrity is living like the Creator intended?

What if we are not mice that make a mess while the cat is elsewhere… What if it is in our best interest to consider that the Creator is watching us… and doing what he intended for us to do, without grumbling, willingly, and with joy?

What if liberty to do whatever you want to do is not just stupid but also what makes you miserable… because the smart way to live is by the design the Creator created for us? And that is not liberty… it is living by design.
Design is always restriction.
What if the order of things is…
