What you find in books, articles about abundance all come from the Dark Side… Please consider that there is a Dark Side. It will explain a lot…
The Dark Side is created by people with their words, with their visualization. Mind stuff. Some people did that with intentional misdirection, others people: too stupid, too unaware, too shallow to even look… just saying and writing second hand bullshit.
While I was working on getting to a world view that is most accurate, I studied, deeply, quite a few disciplines and “modalities”… philosophies. For way more than 10 dark years… lol.

What shall I do with my negativity?
Most people ask me what they should do about other people’s negativity… but ultimately you can’t change anything there, you can only change yourself.
So, what can you do with your negativity?
There are permanent and temporary solutions. But even if you do permanent solutions, you will need to maintain mental hygiene, just like you need to wash your hands all the time, or cut your nails.
Temporary solutions work best if you have lots of discipline and are able to be self-aware close to 24/7.
The art is catching yourself in the act of negativity, and of course to do that you need to know all the ways negativity expresses itself.
It’s a lot like weeding. Weeds are stronger than cultivated plants and grow faster too. Same is the situation with negativity.
Another similarity with weeds is that you can remove the top of the weed plant, or you can remove it from its deep roots.
A few years ago I took a sabbatical, and all summer I worked on a small patch of ground that was full of weeds. Had I suspected that the weeds spread by deeps horizontal shoots on the roots, I would have probably left the whole thing alone, but I didn’t. And once I declared war on the weeds I stuck with it.
I was: it is either the weeds, or me! And I needed all the energy from that battle-cry! Some roots were as deep as two feet, but I got to them, and I was relentless.
In the following years weeding was a once a week task, and it worked. I completely pulled those darn roots. It was probably also important that I planted a strong ground-cover type of vegetation.
This second type of weeding is the “Permanent” solution, you pull the roots and you establish an environment that is not conducive for the negativity to re-establish itself. You still need to be mindful and pick out the occasional negative thoughts you catch but
the new ground cover: new beliefs and feelings will leave less room for negativity
your accomplishments, your relationships that are suddenly nurturing, your health that is suddenly robust will keep negativity away from you.
Animals seem to be happy. Humans are unhappy, pretending to be happy.
Why is this discrepancy?
Consider that what makes you unhappy is your Soul. The Soul that is at cross-purposes with the part of you that is the bodymind, the part of you that guides your behavior, thoughts, and attitudes.
It’s been so maybe forever.
The Soul is the aspect of you that wants to become like God, that wants to become a Creator.
The bodymind only cares about receiving: receiving fun, pleasure, power over others, and being safe, being right, looking good. Some disciplines call it the ego… I won’t… Calling it ego hasn’t proved to be effective, because we have a limited perspective, a cookie cutter concept of ego, and that will limit what you’ll see… so I’ll call what defines you, what guides your actions, what gives you your attitudes the bodymind.
Anger is a big issue. Feeling anger is totally normal, but expressing it, feeling it is made wrong by society, by family, by spouses.
So we suppress it. We feel shame about it. And it is killing us.
I first attempted to learn how to release my accumulated anger when I was in my mid-thirties… and it took me ten years to do that. I had no guidance, no permission, no one to tell me how to do it, really.
The common misconception is that expressing anger is a good thing: just let it all hang out, yell, beat your pillow senseless, but that is just plain not true. Expressing anger as anger doesn’t empty you of anger, it just makes it worse, it drives it deeper.
I had a brainstorm the other day.
For a while I have been having an identity crisis: what is that I am really doing… who am I?
So the other day, way before the sun came up, I was looking at files on my hard drive from long time ago. By what I found I could see how my thinking was then, I could see how my thinking has changed, and how it has become murkier and murkier.

What is negativity?
Most of us seem to know what it is, we feel it, some in their guts, some in their heart, but feel it, especially when other people are negative. When it’s within us, we feel despair, anxiety, worry, we have a sense of dread, or we are sad, nervous, stressed, hyper, manic, depressed, or just listless. We get sick from it.
We do not recognize it as negativity on ourselves and that allows it to go rampant, unmanaged, something that happens to us and all we can do about it is complain, bear it, or take some pills.
In the normal course of events we don’t notice anything special tied to what we think or say, because we are so mired in negativity, it’s normal. Our life is lived in quiet (or not so quiet) desperation, and that’s that.
