In preparation for the Switches training: flexible spine

Yesterday I was working one-on-one with a client.

I asked her to stick/push her chest out and she didn’t know what to do.

After watching this video I see that her thoracic spine isn’t flexible enough.

So this is a somewhat disappointing thought, but if someone wants to activate the power, they will need to make their spines more flexible… or they are sh!t out of luck.

Understanding your diagnostic assessments

I had an interesting and diagnostic experience yesterday

I linked to a page on my old training site in the article. It is free to see that page, but you need to register as a free member. So the link took you to a page said: you need to register.

One person logged in and watched the video. Accidentally or coincidentally, it was the same person who connects successfully and has been for many years. He also had the intention switched on…

The rest said, ‘Oh well’.

On Authority, Or What I Learned From My Brother

On Authority, Or What I Learned From My Brother

My eyes are swimming in tears. Tears of recognition, tears of happiness.

Why am I so happy, you ask? Because I have turned a corner. A big one for me.

My brother, six years my junior, lives in Hungary. We were never really close. No one was close in my family. Holocoust survivor parents, all carrying memories of personal and racial horrors in their cells.

You never knew when they would blow up on you… it was totally unpredictable. I learned last night what’s the mechanism: I am 65 years old and I hadn’t known. Wow.

I last saw my brother in 1995. He came to visit me and he stayed 2-3 weeks, I don’t remember how long. He’d just sold a house he built and was now building another one, and had a sudden cash influx; that’s how he could afford to fly over to me.

At the time I was a magazine publisher and quite ill. He had headaches. I had none of the powers I have today: there was nothing I could do for him. Today I would know what to do… but I won’t cry for spilled milk.

Later that year he lost one eye, the cause of his headaches, then lost his job due to his funny looks with the glass eye… life is unfair.

Whatever you want to do, you can do it better with intention

Whatever you want to do, you can do better with intention

Sounds like an advertising, and maybe it is.

An emasculated, disempowered human, of course, can’t even fathom that they are ‘created’ powerful.

When I ask people in my circles if they feel powerful… they don’t.
Powerful means: able to make things happen.

How To Be A Sacred Lotus: Stay On The Path And Are Happy?

How to be a sacred Lotus, untouched by the rain, the suffering of others, the noise of others: what’s the secret of people that stay on the path and are happy?

What is the reason you are pulled into everything, that you are trying to help everyone, that you are a do-gooder?

I could have written this article about argumentative people, self-justifying people, people asking everyone to help them, angry people, etc. I just chose to write about do-gooders because it looks good… to you, but it kills you and your life exactly as all the other ways… OK?

When I ask people why they go out of their way to help people, they always have an answer. “I am good, I like people, I like to help.”

But the truth is deeper and uglier than that.

Selfless means just that. You have no self. You have no center. You are empty inside. You have no home to come home to.

What it is that you do that keeps you from the light

I finally figured out what it is that attracts me to certain novels, certain movies, certain TV series… and repels me from others. What it is that I am muscletesting.

I am looking for goodness.
But goodness only exists in contrast.
So only the books qualify where the main character has both good and bad and in the struggle, the good wins… Also where the evil is strong, the pull to give up or to give in is strong.

As the Kabbalists say: only if and when you overcome the Opponent that you are good… for the moment.

What is your Rosebud? What would YOU miss if you had to go?

I had this weird question this morning: what would I miss if I were ‘torn’ away from ‘home’?

I would miss playing Freecell. Maybe I would miss my first cup of tea in the morning. I would miss writing an article. I would miss talking to you.

Citizen Kane missed being young. Sliding down the hill on his sled… the rush of the slide, the freedom of winter, the yelling…

When I look back, leaving a country is a lot like that.

I wrote about ‘It’s the system, stupid!’ the cause of misery

The other day I wrote about ‘It’s the system, stupid!’ the cause of misery.

The question I am not sure I answered is this: what is this system?

So in yesterday’s Friday Podcast, I looked with Bonnie, what is the system, really. The Friday Podcast is a one-on-one coaching. I am the coach, and Bonnie is the coaching client. It is real, not play acting.

And what I saw is that the system is really the seed level of a person, of an organization, of a business. The seed level.

When I say: It’s the system, stupid! Where do you look?

Some people, a few, will know where to look. The rest is clueless.

So why would they be clueless?

Because they can’t connect the dots.

What is connecting the dots?

It is seeing the relationship between seemingly unrelated things, seemingly unrelated data.

Seeing what is cause, what is effect…

I woke up this morning happy. A health turnaround…

I woke up this morning happy. WTF? lol

It was so unusual, I actually tried to remember the last time I felt that way upon awakening. I could not find any…

And if I want to be quite, brutally honest, I can’t recall many times when I felt good… physically, emotionally, psychically… Not many.

So waking up happy was an event… worth investigating.
