Passivity… the worst plague in the history of humans

Today’s human’s biggest issue is passivity.

A normal 98% human lives their life like the vagrants in the famous Samuel Beckett’s nihilist play: Samuel Beckett: Waiting For Godot.

If you have never seen it: it’s an empty stage signifying an abandoned filthy littered lot in the middle of nowhere.

Our vagrants talk about nothing for the entire length of the play, while waiting for a guy named Godot.

In the end we find out that Godot never goes that way. So why are they waiting for him there? Because they can wait there… everywhere else they would not be welcome.

Beckett and his anti-heroes are exactly describing the current state of humanity: do what you can where you can, talk about nothing, and wait for something. Never cause anything.

On the surface this is not a bad life, but if you look how it looks and how it feels, it is the underlying cause of depression, melancholy, lifelessness. Walking dead… zombie…

Power tools: Human Evolution is powered by hate

Power tools: Human Evolution is powered by hate

I searched google to see what others have to say. But every article, every site only talked about the physical evolution, and none talked about the inner evolution: where humans conquer their animal nature and truly become human.

And the sites, books, etc. that talked about spiritual evolution, all touted love as the strongest energy to cause it. But love is only available AFTER a considerable level of spiritual evolution is achieved. Until that point what we call love is craving, lust, urge, but not love.

Whereas hate is readily available. Not hate of another. Not hate of another human, or group. No. Hate of not being enough. Hate of stupidity, bad feelings, misery.

If you are in the habit of ameliorating, avoiding, etc. misery, like Freud says in his famous essays,  Civilization and its discontent.
The life imposed on us is too hard for us to bear: it brings too much pain, too many disappointments, too many insoluble problems. If we are to endure it, we cannot do without palliative measures. … Of such measures there are perhaps three kinds:

powerful distractions, which cause us to make light of our misery,
substitutive satisfactions, which diminish it, and
intoxicants, which anaesthetize us to it.

To cause self-evolution on the personal level, power tools are needed…
…not the tools Freud says we are already using. What is currently offered in the marketplace is weak, ineffective, and at best consolation.

I have found, and I had 37 years to look, test, evaluate, that a power tool only qualifies to be called a power tool if it can be used out of the box. It needs to be learned… and maybe other things unlearned…

And it needs to be able to raise a person’s quality of life (and consciousness)  by at least 10%. Although I saw, in yesterday’s Moneyroots, that a simple tool well chosen, can increase that quality of life by 50% if learned correctly and used diligently enough.
Here are the power tools that I teach.
Are there, could there be more? Muscletest says: no.

Tools where a myth needs to be corrected before it is a tool:

wrong… from IS
I
because… be cause

Tool that is visualizing a situation: hitting bottom
Tool where the power source is regret/hate

To my utter surprise, possibility, purpose, meaning, everything Landmark Education teaches don’t qualify as a power tool… why? because they are positive thinking weak energies. Because a possibility’s shelf life is short… and unless a person has lots of support, the possibility disappears.

Whereas hate requires no words… it is there whether you want it or not.
Evolution Is Powered By Hate
Of course in order to be able to see what drives personal growth, personal evolution, one needs to be able to stand to the side… and look from there.

The art of getting what you want. Learn it! And then USE it!

I really want you to come to my Moneyroots workshop. Now you know.

Does it mean you’ll come?

Given that I am begging… probably not.

But what else can I do?

Well, there is a process… a proven, count-on-able process I have learned 35 years ago… and have been neglecting nowadays… So yeah, there is a process to get you to come to a class I consider important… and whether you come or not is really up to me.

Yeah.

The fraudulent promises to change your core beliefs

Do you think that the words spoken in your head are your beliefs?
What words? you say.

That ‘what words?’ was two of them. The words are spoken in your head.

There is a whole lot of talking that seems to be going on in your head, and if you think it is you, then they accomplished what they intended: you become a puppet on word-strings.

There is no such thing as a belief, and those words are NOT belief.

Don’t believe me? Just add words consciously, and see how much difference they make. None, that’s how much.

what is love? how do you go about getting it? what is it buying you?

What is love?

When we are babies: love is attention. We can’t do anything for ourselves, and someone paying attention to us equals love to us. Our comfort, our survival depends on it.

We each “earned” the attention in  different ways, and then settled on one or two ways that worked the best.

We cried for the bottle in a whiny way, suggesting to our caretaker that we are dying. Pleading, begging, modulating our cry until we got a response.

We cried for the bottle with anger, anguish, or threat. We cried to get a clean diaper. We cried to be picked up.

We also manipulated our caretakers by smiles, by reaching out to them, grabbing their fingers, maybe laugh, little manipulative signs that made them feel good, liked, maybe even loved.

Just like pets learn to push your buttons: it is all self-serving, to make us get attention and food, shelter, and petting.

Power Tools for living a life you love & live it powerfully

yeah, power tools… or power skills?
But beware… these tools are not for everybody. If you are not up to anything, if you have no ambition, nothing to need power tools for, then power tools are not for you. Complacency and power tools don’t go together… OK, I said it.
What is the difference between an article that has ‘ten things to do to have a happy life’ and another article that has ‘power tools for a powerful life’?

Tricky question…

In the hand of a MacGyver a paper clip is a power tool to get out of a jam, or to open a handcuff. But it is not a power tool for a powerful life.

I have wasted so much money over the years!

If I could turn it back into money, all the things I bought that didn’t bring me any benefit, my expenses would be covered for a year, maybe more.

That is a lot of time I wasted, because I work for my money. Every penny of it.

For about a decade I owned a magazine that catered to adult entertainment. So I had a chance to observe. Observe the men who showered money on it, and entertainers who showered the same money on dudes who put it up their noses.

In this week’s Borowitz Report Andy Borowitz says: U.S.A. the Envy of World After Ten Billion Dollars in Campaign Ads Changes Almost Nothing.

DAILY PRACTICE

DAILY PRACTICE: Push hard to get better, become smarter, grow your devotion to the truth, fuel your commitment to beauty, refine your emotional intelligence, hone your dreams, negotiate with your shadow, cure your ignorance, shed your pettiness, heighten your drive to look for the best in people, and soften your heart — even as you always accept yourself for exactly who you are — with all of your so-called imperfections. ~~ Rob Brezsny

Depending on how you look at something, it has many facets

What you see is what you see. What someone sees when they look at what you are looking at, likely that they will see something else.

Some two decades ago I participated in a two-hour workshop where the leader began with asking the audience what color the notepad she held in her hand was… Obviously it was white. And every moron could see that it was white.

But then she flipped it over, and now we saw her side, and it was brown cardboard… Darn…

I just learned something. I have stopped arguing then and there…
