Crying: what does it do for you? Expect the unexpected…

When you cry and the crying/sobbing has no content. When you don’t know why you are crying, then something deep is clearing out.

But when you know why you are crying, then some past, some meaning, some opinion gets confirmed and your ego will continue giving you ‘reason’ to cry.

What’s between you and you

About 30 years ago, I didn’t have a car, and I had to beg a ride every time I wanted to go to Landmark to assist.

I spent hours in cars, in conversations I would not have had otherwise.

I talked to people at length that I would never have talked to. It enriched my life.

One of these people, half my age, drove me back and forth every Sunday. We talked a lot. She had a room full of stuff, neatly organized, figurines and such.

Why Am I Miserable? Why You Are Miserable? The Most Binding Agreements Are The Ones You Never Made

Why Am I Miserable? Why You Are Miserable? The Most Binding Agreements Are The Ones You Never Made

I had a session with a client. The conversation went to one of my ‘favorite’ topics: why wives stop wanting intimacy after the children are born.

This is a big issue for men, and destroys many marriages.

For the “other” you are the enemy

Do you think this is a game?!

In the past five months I have taken all my senses, all my capacities inward, and to sensing and feeling.

The brain plasticity allows you to re-organize what you use to get valid information about your world, and I moved all my available capacities to inner and outer sensation.

You, on the other hand, have moved all your available capacities to the mind, where it intermingles with untruth… but this article is not about that.

Anyway, this morning I was paying attention to the dynamic between the world and me… to the attitudes and feelings of critters around, small and big, and I saw something that shook me up a bit.

What’s Missing In Teachings That Most People Can’t Get Any Results? Fraud? Deception? Blindness?

Why is it that once really effective, brilliant, and spot on spiritual and transformational teachers are not able to come up with technologies and distinctions that would transform the participants in their courses into accomplishing, fulfilled, and satisfied mavens? Why is that?

I had some unexpected glimpses into this today, and I am going to share them as fast as I can, before they disappear for me.

Your relationship to reality, your brain, and your life

Reality has everything it has. And what it doesn’t have isn’t real. It isn’t part of reality. It’s added.

This is the hardest part of reality: understanding that speaking, the observer, populates reality with things that don’t belong, and then turns around and grieves the things it spoke as reality. And the truth.

All suffering comes from this speaking.

Three stories about the rock blocking the road

I went to architecture school in 1966.

We were told, from the very beginning that we are taught where to find the knowledge, and not knowledge itself.
When you need it: you look it up. Or you know who to ask. Or you know how to figure it out.
I took that to heart.

I didn’t even learn the formulas for calculating the size of building elements… Instead I paid attention to how they came to that calculation so when I need the formula I can re-create it.

High vibration – low vibration: what does it really signify? What does it really mean?

Everyone wants to have their vibration measured. But they don’t know how to measure vibration, and they don’t know what the number they get means.

This is an old article that is as relevant today as it was when I wrote it. It clarifies what low vibration, high vibration is, and how to raise your vibration…

I woke up late today. I could recall my dream. It was nightmarish, but it was a guidance dream. A first in a long long time.

I was in a mental hospital, in Hungary, talking to my psychiatrist; young, innocent, pregnant, terrified of me.

I was explaining that we all have a dark side, as long as the light source is outside of ourselves. She asked: even a sheet of paper has a dark side? Yes, no matter how thin paper is it has a dark side.

Slice it even thinner… but…

No matter how thinly you slice the paper, it will still have a dark side and a light side.

That was the dream… the rest of the guidance happened while I was sitting in the cold room on the edge of my bed… the only way to have no dark side is to be the Light.

Which means…

Osho: Baby, my whole work is to confuse you!

I haven’t had many people say that I confuse them, probably because to say that is confrontational, and only about 4% of you is confrontational. Not that you don’t think that, but it takes courage and individuality to utter those words, and you don’t have it in you.

What would it take to say those words, without animosity, without anger, without pointing fingers? If you could solve that conundrum for yourself, life would be a lot better, wouldn’t it?

Until the age of about 40, my biggest issue was what to do with my anger. I made up a story, based on accidental coincidences, that my anger kills… and that I am a murderer. Obviously, with that cornerstone of a belief, it was impossible for me to express my anger in a socially acceptable way, so I suppressed, and then I exploded, and I repeated that pattern for 40 years, to my detriment.

I had ulcers, nervous breakdowns, depression, insomnia… not pleasant.

So, for me to learn to be confrontational, confronted and response, confronted and be well, calm and collected, was a huge shift in my being, in the right direction.

Anyway, here is a talk transcribed from Osho, that I think you’ll enjoy.

Baby, my whole work is to confuse you!

3 Coaches, Avoiding Confrontation, What’s Your Filter?

3 Coaches, Avoiding Confrontation, What’s Your Filter?

I now have three coaches. Three different people, three different styles, three different world views. the only thing that is common among them is that they represent a world view polar opposite to mine.

Why would I hire coaches so different from me? Because I hope that their different vantage points will make my own filters visible to me. I don’t expect them to catch my filters… but I promise I will. As soon as I see them.

Now, if you are paying attention, you should be asking, what is a filter… coffee filter, U.V. filter… what the heck are you talking about Sophie?

If you didn’t ask this question, I assert that you sleepwalk through life and “for you everything is the same as everything else… except that not always.”

Offended? Good.
