Why you are not, in fact cannot be curious? Are you screwed now?

I have decided to re-read the Feelings book, and this time make it a study, memorize the names of the different needs, take a more earnest approach to learning the “language” of the machine that is need-based.

I am feeling a mix of fear and excitement. where? in my stomach, expanding to my chest.

My plan is to read/study the book is to study it at the beginning of my evening reading session for about 10 minutes, and then switch to my “other” book… whatever book I am reading in the evening at the time… currently it is “Curious” by Ian Leslie.

I am reading Curious for the second time, and this time it is, given the chance, going to change something in me and consequently in how I teach, how i guide, and what I expect YOU to do.

Explained… the only path to happiness is…

Explained: That is the name of one of my favorite shows on Netflix.

We all walk around with some approximate knowledge of things… we know absolutely nothing exactly, deeply. At best we remember what we read, heard, but that is second hand knowledge. In a world where PhD’s have 7-10% truth value, second hand knowledge is virtually worthless. Even if you had the ability to repeat word for word what they said, your knowledge would be still just 7-10% truth value… sound dismal, doesn’t it?

So we are bumbling idiots in a world that is too big and too complicated, and unpredictable, and fuzzy for our taste… and we bang ourselves up, repeatedly, for no other reason than that we didn’t know.

“What you would seem to be, be really.” Russian Proverb

Your elbow is close, yet you can’t bite it… another Russian proverb…

Your mind says: I am not enough… it has been saying it for a long time… but nothing has changed.

It is Monday Morning and I am already not enough.

I just read the Monday Morning Memo, and it answered my nagging question: why am I not more successful? And answered it in a way that turned me into a heap of meat: I can’t do what it tells people to do… put sentences the way he says…

I can’t. I’ll never amount to much… maybe it’s time to pack it in.

I am pondering what he teaches, I am pondering my inability, I am pondering how I can live, have the audacity to live, now that I know.

I am pondering, as always, while I play Freecell, a computer card game. A completely impossible setup solves itself… I win the game.

You hate your job? It is boring? It doesn’t make a difference? You are not good at it? It just pays the bills but no fulfillment?

George Bernard Shaw wrote more than a hundred years ago: “This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.”

And what he wrote about you, being a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances… is more true today than it was in his time.

No one has offered a solution to that issue until now.

Turning the impossible possible…. results in flow

I have been listening to a podcast… two and a half hour long, so I can take only a half hour here, a half hour there…

The sentences above are from that podcast… a conversation about how to get into your flow state.

Because I have client with a half-done Juice Exercise call, I am looking for some help in that podcast… some more inspiration than I already have… More faith, more confidence…

…while I am pondering why don’t more people apply, apply in droves, to see what gives them juice?
Because once you see it and see it accurately, bring it out of the invisible, you feel that you have to.
Let me ask you a question? When you are hungry, do you feel that you have to eat? Of do you feel that you want to eat? That eating is good for you?

Can you see what I am saying? The Juice Exercise brings to light what gives you a sense of joy, what allows you to feel energized, hooked up, alive, turned on… by allowing you to see what it is.

All Goals in Life Are Problematic — Except One

I have a couple of notebooks in my bed, and I caught a glimpse in one of them: love one day at a time.

It seems that society conspires against the peace that comes from the way of living: society wants you to chase something far away, and while you chase it, make vision boards, mind movies, bombastic declarations, and get caught up in the Desire Trap, which I’d like to rename Wanting Trap.

And although the best things come to you as side effect, not as results of goal setting, although what works in like is taking care of the process, keeping your eye on what you are doing, not concerned with big goals, or the future, most people today are caught up in the Wanting Trap, and live a life of unhappiness, and underachieving.

What’s your strategy? Do you have one?

What’s your strategy?

This is the most important question to ask yourself if you want to build a business, expand a business, or change a business. Or if you want to accomplish anything really… anything that requires more steps and more time that just making your bed in the morning.

What is a strategy?

According to the dictionary: a plan of action to achieve a major or overall aim or result

Strategy is essentially the bridge between where you are and your vision.

It’s also a narrative that takes the listener from how it is now through what it takes to get to the fulfillment of the plan: expanding, balding or changing the business or a project.

Unless it is clear for the listener that the actions listed in the narrative will surely get the speaker to the role, the likelihood of the goal to be accomplished is between zero and none. You can be both the speaker and the listener in this.

You can choose any color as long as it’s black

… said Henry Ford in 1909 to his sales people… From Quora

The phenomenon of wanting to please everyone, wanting everyone to like you… is the hallmark of slavish people, needy people, who can’t and won’t be successful at anything.

If you are an entrepreneur, unless you rein this neediness in, and internalize that no one needs to like you… you won’t be successful… because slaves are never successful.

Who are the people who really choose providers, coaches, teachers by who they like are the same people who won’t like you if and when you do what you need to do to take care of yourself. They consider you fodder… ‘I like my meat well done… I like my trainer to be nice, naive, and putty in my hands.’

No distinction.

Same if you are a whore of sorts…

How do you block the flow?

Some questions come up again and again… especially for readers of my articles.

One of them goes like this: how come someone with a vibration and consciousness much lower than mine can make so much more money than I do?

Or, for me, how come I sometimes make money, other times I don’t? What about me that changes from one time to another?

These are very important questions to answer. For each and every one of us wants to get the most we can get, if we can get it… right?

There is a vast difference between smart and intelligent…

There is a vast difference between smart and intelligent…

Smart is a born-with potential, mainly inherited, depends on the size of your brain. Intelligence is what you make with what you got… through learning. What is in your brain…  what it can do.

You may be smart, but chances are 99.99% that you are not intelligent. Because intelligence shows up in your choices… oho… not good, right?
Your smart score stays the same for your entire life. Your intelligence changes with what you eat, what you just ate, how you feel, how you slept, and, of course, what you have taught your smart brain to do.
