Therefore: the invisible thread in all the invisible dynamics that decide your happiness or wretchedness

I have been talking about these invisible dynamics forever… hundreds of articles about them.

There is no mystery about them, yet you need to actually be willing to look until you see them.

There is a common element in all the invisible dynamics I have looked at, even included the logical fallacies and cognitive biases, which are also part of the invisible dynamics.

And that is what I am talking about in this article. It is there, it is always there, it is already there. Invisible… Lurking in the background, lurking under the conscious detection.
There is nothing wrong with you. And there is nothing right about you either.

Want to become competent in life? Competence is rare… even professionals are not very competent

I watched, mostly listened to the “masterclass” selling Eric Edmeades’ Wildfit course.

The truth value of what Eric Edmeades said was 30%. There was nothing in it that was untrue… it just cannot go higher when you have a product for mass consumption, a one size fit all product.

Eric Edmeades’ vibration is 200.

As in every masterclass, he was having a conversation with Vishen Lakhiani, who looks fabulous, but is insufferable, for the most part. His vibration is 150.

Why, in spite of a good process you are taught, you don’t live a transformed life?

So I am listening to the “itch” calls from 2014, and I am mortified at the level of transformation… It is near zero.
Sometimes I put the cart in front of the horse…
The insight (the horse) on the two selves that unless they become a team, no transformation can happen, came since I did those amazing Itch calls in 2014… so no wonder that the results are missing…

What am I talking about?

Your machine, your particular machine, was built based on an incident. Or better said: a decision you made by you (or accepted about yourself) as a child.

So far so good… but the process doesn’t stop there.
There is a series of “therefores”… behaviors, that come from that early decision, and all of them are ugly. Fake. Pretentious. All try to fix what wasn’t true to begin with.

You may know the price of everything and the value of nothing

I had a very interesting conversation, in email, with one of my long time students.

It belies one of the fundamental needs of a human: being paid attention to.

You could say: every child is paid attention to, you work for them, you clean them, to feed them, you put them to bed, but being paid attention to is different. It is a need to be personally noticed, considered, and in some way validated… or something breaks inside.

It is hard to estimate how many children suffer from the lack of fulfillment of this need.

You are machine… but not a stupid machine

Transformation is not a walk in the park… Because your machine, as a rule, prevents you from accurately seeing reality

Why? Because the invisible machine causes distortions in your perception of reality. Your machine shapes your interpretations, your meanings, and with your reaction to those, it shapes what other people will do…

This is where we are in the Playground…

The tumbleweed or the invisible dynamic of a life worth living

There are two opposing ways of being that individually each is out of step with Life… unless they join forces… The tumbleweed
My Playground course is designed to bring the participants back to pre organized-religion times, where being in sync, being in harmony, being in step with Life is natural and not a sin.

But it is a B-i-t-c-h to teach.

Why? Because “The chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.”

The straitjacket of your identity

The identity you invented is preventing you from living the life you want

What identity? you ask.

That person you deeply believe that you are. The good person, the helpful person, the nice person…

Or the superman
Or the intelligent, well spoken person
Or the smart person…
Or the humble person…

But there are questions, because those same identity traits are at the root of some of your complaints, so there is a disharmony somewhere.

Confession Video?

Yesterday I was on a zoom training with a known videographer. He gave an assignment to us, participants, to make a five-minute ‘confession video’ of why we do what we do, being vulnerable, authentic, and firm in the declaration of the intention for what we do. Each their own… not as a group.

The call was in the evening, so I spent all my dreams pondering where was the point where I became who I am today… and what furnace did I come through to be that…

I participated in Landmark (formerly est training) for 26 years when I first decided that maybe it is my job to take Landmark’s teaching further.

I had offered myself to Landmark and was rejected several times. They needed straight delivery people, not thinkers. In spite of the rejections I never lost the confidence that I have what it takes to take Landmark’s work further, make it more accessible and more implementable, so it could make more difference in people’s results and sense of self.

But where was the turning point, where was the hero’s journey?

Are you the solution or are you the problem?

I am sitting here. In a few hours I have a brainstorming call with a student of mine, who is, who has been, who is proving to be impossible to train… and I am scared and angry.

This article is the process in which I change my context for the call, so I can make a difference… or not… Inside the current context all I can do is yell… Not what I want my life to be. So, here we go…
Useless vs Priceless
Or said in another way: are you the solution or are you the problem?

As a little boy or as a little girl, you made some decisions about yourself, what it is that you were supposed to get, how to get what you want.

The Pebble in your shoes: the invisible switch of the machine that is your life

This is the second part of this series about the pebble in your shoe… The one that cramps your style, spoils your efforts, and leaves you with less than you started, no results, no joy, no satisfaction.

So what is the pebble? Here is my definition, the result of a lot of looking, pondering… The Pebble is what you take as self-evident, therefore it’s invisible for you: it’s the concealed switch of the machine that you are…

It is what Ayn Rand refers to in Atlas Shrugged… Contradictions do not exist. Whenever you think you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong.
“Check your premises” is an injunction that runs as a subtheme through Ayn Rand’s novel Atlas Shrugged , and it is a phrase that seems to be growing more pertinent every day. The meaning of the phrase is this: If you seem to be confronting a contradiction, then at least one of your relevant beliefs is false
