This is how LifeHacker writes about not having enough time

I Don’t Have Time is a lie

Not enough time to exercise. Not enough time to cook healthy meals. Not enough time to clean. Not enough time to pursue hobbies. Sound familiar? We’ve all said things like this before, but as Nerd Fitness points out, “I don’t have enough time” is a lie.

We don’t have enough time in the day for everything we might want to do, but we must have enough time for our priorities.

Whenever you find yourself thinking “I don’t have time” change it to “It’s not a priority.”

Great Stuff I’d like you to see. Also a great gift idea, I think

I found a page of a photographer that amazed me. I use a lot of photos in this blog, and sometimes I wonder how the photographer made the photo: I sure don’t know how to do tricks like that, although I like taking pictures and I have thousands of published photos…

Here is a little taste:

Here is the link to the page. There is a video there too, that I could not link to directly.

Choices: who is making your choices?

Life is full of choices. We, for the most part, don’t see that we are choosing because the chooser is the mind, is habit, is societal right and wrong, and we don’t get to experience the fact that every time we choose something we say yes to something and no to everything else.

For example, when you choose to always take the long road, when you choose to move slowly and hesitantly, or alternatively being in a hurry, haste… (your typical life, wouldn’t you say?) you choose to fill your life with stuff that doesn’t contribute to you… you are just wasting time. Or when you choose to wait till the last minute to do the homework that is observing this or that… you also really choose to not do it… because you can’t observe in the last minute… so you chose to stay the same… Can you see that?

I know it is quite futile to strive to wake up everybody, but I am allowed to strive to wake up some people, so that’s what I am going to do.

Can you feel love and hate, compassion and contempt at the same time?

Choosing, caring, designer energies…

On Sunday we went back to Standard Time, and it’s Tuesday. The time change always whacks me out, it takes me weeks to get back my bearings.

I slept in today. I missed the garbage pickup. I have a sore throat. …but had a dream that brought up some issues that are worth talking about.

Caring is not a feeling. Caring is choosing

This story is so similar to what we are doing, you and I, my dear follower

I rarely cry when I read a story, but this story made me cry. It’s about a handful (9) misfits that made history, that didn’t quit when it made sense to quit, didn’t stop until they lived in a way that matched their vision of a life worth living.

When I look at my work, I see myself as a misfit that doesn’t know when to quit. And when I look at you, I am proud to have attracted a small crew of misfits that don’t quit.

Because living a life that is worth living is a mighty idea, and needs you to be a misfit… after all the world argues for a life other people think you should live, a life not really lived, not even experienced, a life that is sleepwalking…

Enjoy the story. I loved it.

Marker feelings

All emotions are created by words… and therefore we can call all emotions marker feelings.

Real feelings are through our sensory organs, and their purpose is to inform us about our outside and inside reality, so we can do what we need to do to be well.

Marker feelings create first a feeling and then an interpretation of that feeling… and we call that an emotion.

As an empath I feel what you feel, but what emotion you call it depends on your interpretation of the feeling… all interpretations are words…

For example, your pressure in your stomach, depending on your history, can indicate fear, dread, resistance, or many other emotions…

Crab bucket

Crab bucket
A crab bucket is what it is: crabs in a bucket. However, what happens in the bucket full of crabs is what makes it a famous saying.

When a single crab is put into a lidless bucket, they surely can and will escape. However, when more than one share a bucket, none can get out. If one crab elevates itself above all, the others will grab this crab and drag them back down to share the mutual fate of the rest of the group.

Crab bucket syndrome is often used to describe social situations where one person is trying to better itself and others in the community attempt to pull them back down. Also often used in describing the ghettos of America (or anywhere, for that matter).

Horizontal Plane

Life can be lived either on the horizontal plane or on the vertical plane.

The horizontal plane is the plane where everything is mostly wrong, everything and everyone is blocking you from fulfilling your desires, of which you have plenty.

It is the home of either/or, either them or you, either you are winning or you are losing.

It is simply the only plane of existence that you can see, if you are in the 99% of humanity.

The alternative, is to see life from a higher elevation where things are not either/or, where you can have your cake and eat it too, where you and others can live in peace and harmony, even if your opinions about important things differ.

Where Selfish is a high state, and doesn’t mean someone else has to go without.

It’s time to laugh… It is all s-h-i-t… bs… deception… illusion… a dream

I am reading a Kindle book, Comets and the Horns of Moses (The Secret History of the World) by Laura Knight-Jadczyk

The book is 700 pages, and hard to read, so I don’t recommend it: I will write about it, it will be as good as reading it. Not here, not now, I first want to finish it, I am 40% through.
