If you are a healer, you want to read this…

I have students that are in the healing profession.

When they first start with me, they are confused, stunned, and ask me if they should quit doing what they are doing. Their whole attitude, in that moment, reveals to me what is not working about their healing.

Healing, much like the work I do, is restoring balance in a human being.

Because being out of balance can happen in so many different ways, and through so many years, even decades, and because you can be out of balance emotionally, intellectually, psychologically, chemically…. etc. etc. there is no healing modality that can restore anyone, there is no activator that can restore anyone, no coaching method…

Restoring balance is like picking a lock.

The most important quality a healer can bring to healing is being 100% present to what’s so, over time.

Imagine a tumble lock with 30-40 pins… the combination looks endless and it is near endless. Each pin’s position can be anywhere between on and off… Until you get it all right, the lock won’t turn, but yet, there are indicators that you are going in the right direction. You can feel it… But that doesn’t mean continuing doing the same thing, it only means, that the starting point now changed to the new starting point…

Are you a lump of coal dreaming itself a diamond?

Karl Marx, the author of Communist Manifesto and the whole ideology of socialism and communism, where there is forced equality, said:

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people

Religion was constructed by people to calm uncertainty over their role in the universe and in society.

I can see that.

A fresh look at the pebble: is it an unconscious commitment to fail?

A fresh look at the pebble: is it a secret commitment?

When you are a transformational teacher, part of your job is to do the work you ask your students to do, on yourself and on your life.

Why? Aren’t you already transformed? No, transformation doesn’t last. Transformation is a momentary opening to the beyond, beyond what you already know and hold true, and that momentary opening doesn’t stay open for any longer than a few seconds, maybe minutes.

Which means, that if you don’t take an action consistent with the new opening you see, then the transformation is lost, maybe forever.

I am a transformational teacher, and I never pretend to have transformed: I do the work, every day, just like I ask you to do it.

Transformation is one of those phenomena when you can see that the saying is quite true: “The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off…” Sounds funny, but it really isn’t.

Doing work, day in and day out, being pissed of by what you see is nobody’s dream life, and yet, if you want a bigger life, a less predictable, less scripted life, then the only path I have seen that works is ongoing transformation.

Brilliance, Digging For Gold, Soul Desire, And Eavesdrop On My Private Conversations…

Brilliance, Digging For Gold, Soul Desire, And Eavesdrop On My Private Conversations…

I was on the phone with a friend of mine this morning. We started out in a mastermind. Every other member fell away, but we have been talking, every Sunday at 9 am, for seven years now.

In mastermind, the most important ingredient is: you get to say what’s up, out loud and be heard. This is really important, because the people in your life can’t hear you: they have too much past that interferes, too much vested interest in the way: they will not be able to hear you. But on a mastermind of people with no investment in you being anything other than you are, you can speak, and you can be heard.

I heard somewhere, I can’t remember when, can’t remember where, that “It is hard to be silently brilliant, lots of thoughts occur when you open your mouth.”

I always wanted to be brilliant. And I always knew that brilliance was like gold, hidden in layers and layers of dirt, sometimes deep, and you need to dig for it.

The Big Picture Activator: one of its many ways to shock you out of your puny view

The following writing comes from Rob Brezsny, syndicated horoscope writer, whatever they are called, and a writer.

I am re-publishing this piece that arrived to my email box this morning, because you need to look at the stuff that happens to you with different eyes.

One of my students had a run-in with some deer and a tree… her car badly damaged. This, in addition to a lot of inner turmoil, could wake her up. But instead she is busy worrying about fixing the car, feeling guilty, you know the “drill”, being in her head. The whole drama.

If she could consider this as Life’s healing shock, using Rob Brezsny’s expression, she could be sent into all directions: all revealing a bigger picture than her puny two dimensional view of life.

We, you and me, are all guilty of that. We all “pray” for life to either be smooth, meaning stay the same, or something better. Our actions are consistent with stalling…

Whatever works… Or how to go from surviving life to real living by expanding your horizons to the big picture

You can’t argue with results… yet, we (you and I) catch ourselves not ever looking at the results, instead we look at something else…

When I poke into what that is, invariably I find that we pass a systemic judgment on some step in the process towards success, and that derails us from success.

What is a systemic judgment? It is one of the ways we look at value. It is a two-prong approach to life, a specific filter through which only the cultural aspects of a value show up, good or bad, useful or useless, black or white, moral or immoral, right or wrong.

It doesn’t matter whether we look at ourselves, at other people or things… we seem to be stuck on this low-level of systemic judgment, and no success, no nurturing, no love, no appreciation, no fulfillment. Those live on the intrinsic level. Also no money, no results… and those live on the extrinsic level.

Extrinsic deals with the world, and specifically the exchange between people. When you live in the world with people, if your well-being, and survival, the quality of life depends on people, and that is everyone, then it is silly to look at values through the systemic lens: it will be both misleading and irrelevant.

Supernatural? Empaths, sensitive, empathic person… what is the truth?

People in general are addicted to seeking out and listening to “teachers” they think they know something that is not knowable to an ordinary person.

The way to “know” is to have “supernatural abilities.”

What is supernatural? And what is esoteric?

If you look at the Map of Consciousness, you can see that there is no such thing as supernatural, there are vibrational differences. And, probably, there are glitches. And maybe mutants? lol…

Human Being, in his Original Design state is pretty close to what you call supernatural. Yes, compared to the atrophied, slavish, sheeplike human of today, the Original Man was really powerful.

Each generation of humans became more removed from Source, and now, in the sixth generation, there are hardly any traces of the magnificent design we once had.

Some people retained some semblance of the original, but not many. Why? I am not sure. I don’t even have a theory. Maybe genetic, maybe atavistic, maybe a glitch, maybe outside influence. I don’t know.

One capacity that can be considered supernatural because it’s pretty cool, is empathy.

True Empaths are able to connect to anything well defined enough, and feel it, accurately, both on the emotional and the sensory level.

There is a vast difference between smart and intelligent…

There is a vast difference between smart and intelligent…

Smart is a born-with potential, mainly inherited, depends on the size of your brain. Intelligence is what you make with what you got… through learning. What is in your brain…  what it can do.

You may be smart, but chances are 99.99% that you are not intelligent. Because intelligence shows up in your choices… oho… not good, right?
Your smart score stays the same for your entire life. Your intelligence changes with what you eat, what you just ate, how you feel, how you slept, and, of course, what you have taught your smart brain to do.

Soul Correction: Forget Thyself

Update 6/15/18

Given how relevant the number: how much you think of yourself, this soul correction is to take yourself out of the picture, completely. Stand outside and know that nothing is about you.

And as long as you think it is, you’ll have misery, you’ll not breathe deeply, you’ll feel hurt, or important, or whatever self-centered things you fancy yourself.

Original writeup:

The issue with the soul correction is trust. The lack of it. No trust in other people, no trust in the Universe. Closed in, relying only on one’s own experience. Nothing is accepted at face value.

This is the soul correction of the Tree of Life… the skeptic will test everything.

The problem is that one can’t experience everything in a “normal” life, and therefore most decisions come as a reaction from an ego truth… and they are wrong decisions.

There is a much bigger world with a lot bigger view than a typical Forget Thyself person can see. So a Forget Thyself is mostly a bumbling idiot, making mistake after mistake.
