Tactic or strategy… growth or stagnation… even descent… choose!

My notes:
If you feel like you want to transcribe this audio and let me have it, please do so. I’ll appreciate it and you’ll learn ton from it.

Miko transcribed this audio: thank you very much, Miko!

This post is going to be about something really important. If I look at all the people that contact me, all the people that I teach, all the people that I know, they have no idea about it, and even I am just starting to scratch the surface. I mean, maybe I am years ahead of you, but even that is just scratching the surface.

Why is it that you cannot see the strategy, only the tactic… if even that? If so: What else can’t you see?

Life is a game… a game is something where it is predefined what is better than something else. What is winning.

In golf the ball in the cup is better than outside of it.

In basketball: the ball in the basket, in tennis the ball staying in the air longer, in bridge the higher score, in Freecell: the empty board.

In business more profits, money that stays in your pocket, is better than less.

In love, being loved is better than not to be loved.

Sun Tsu (The Art of War on Wikipedia, read The_Art_Of_War pdf) said:
“All men can see these tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolved.”

So the fact that YOU cannot see the strategy is not an exception, it is more like the rule.

Losing is also defined, either as trying but not winning, or not playing at all.

In the psychopath segment, was it yesterday? feels like a whole week passed, I am talking about the Jewish strategy for survival of the tribe: education. Deep looking, curiosity, inquiry, discussion, diligence, and… not lastly, the principle of marrying a spouse with whom to spawn the next generation… for the survival of the tribe.

If you missed that part, in the video, go back and watch, only three minutes long.

Levels of consciousness and other important distinctions

When you look at the consciousness level chart, as much as I don’t like David Hawkins, he is right about some things… And dead wrong about many others.

When you want to accomplish something, in addition to know what is the next step, you need to know what is the ‘final’ or ultimate target, so you can stay your course.

In raising your consciousness, the highest and ultimate target is what is called ‘enlightenment’ which doesn’t mean anything. So instead of enlightenment, in the work I do with clients and students, I endeavor to take them to the next evolutionary level, which is human being… So we’ll call our call: human being, or fulfilling the Original Design encoded in the DNA.

It is not easy to notice, because it is hidden in a top right corner of the chart… but if you look and set your life at the furthest and highest consciousness, you’ll notice that it says: no emotion… and life occurs, on that level as it is what it is. Not how it should be, not how it shouldn’t be, not right, not wrong, not sad, not happy, not good, not bad… it is what it is.

So learning and mastering releasing negative emotions, and even positive emotions, is crucial.

This is a recent video by a dude, British accent… but it is OK… I have never made a video on releasing… maybe I should.

In the same chart he is absolutely and totally wrong about ‘ineffable’… an ecstatic state that is incompatible with enlightenment.

On that level, and that is what you should work towards, the mission is: the emotional state of no emotions. Feelings? yes. but emotions? driven by words? no. None.

How do I know?
I have been climbing the consciousness level scale for a few decades now. And the things have changed for me are this:

1. I am seeing a bigger picture from a higher elevation where I am hardly touched by its mood…

Imagine a scenario: it’s a major intersection, and two vehicles collide. You are standing on the street corner… No compare the feeling you have when you look at it from an airplane… no sound, no gore, no emotion.

That is one of the big changes when you climb the Tree of Life, or the consciousness level scale

2. the second element, or the second change is how reality occurs… If you remember, how we look at reality is that we commingle it with what we say… and that commingled reality: what is happening plus what we say about it is our personal reality.

When you climb higher on the consciousness scale, you say less and less about what you see… so your personal reality and reality are more alike… As a result you are more astute, because all the emotions that distort your view come from the words. All of them.

So in essence, these are the two differences in experience between low vibration and high vibration.
From how high you look at things from… so they don’t threaten you

Why you are excitement seeker… explained

Lighting up curiosity is like alchemy… not distinguishable from magic My notes… if you are inclined to transcribe this episode, I am inclined to trade my products or services with you…

the two brains
curiosity is a right brain phenomena
learning is a left brain

curiosity, when properly awakened, is the spark or the initial much needed step to cause learning.

ignorance is caused by no curiosity.

If you want to change your results in life… or why watching TED talks won’t change your life

…or even reading. Or even having a mentor… or paying thousands of dollars for courses…

Why?
We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are

Which means you only hear/see/read from what you watch, hear or read what you already are.

If you want to change your results in life… you have to change yourself first

To change yourself, you need to change what you see…

It’s easier to change crap than air…

Every course, workshop, training, in whatever area of life, is largely ineffective.

Some courses are as low as 1-2%… meaning that 98-99% of the participant had an experience, but not the results promised.

I have been puzzling this out for the past eight years… until, this morning, I possibly got the answer why that is.

Questions that turn on your power, your personal power

What are the questions that awaken and pull things to yourself to become cause? To get access to your personal power?

Agreement 1: Be Impeccable With Your Word: question: was I impeccable with my word?
Agreement 2: Don’t Take Anything Personally: question: did I take something personally?
Agreement 3: Don’t Make Assumptions. question: did I make an assumption?
Agreement 4: Always Do Your Best. question: did I do my best?

more questions to ask:

What could I be responsible for to get access to power?
What am I doing?
what am I assuming/thinking?
What am I taking personally?
what is my attitude?
What am I expecting?
What am I going for/intention?
how wide am I looking?
What am I stingy about?
where am I erring on the side of ‘it’s my way or the highway’?

Until you get responsibility good and going, nothing else can change in your life.

If you find yourself falling back to where you started…

Like any mad scientist, I always keep looking to move closer to the horizon that recedes as I am getting closer to it. It seems I am almost there…

But… there is always some boulder is blocking my way.

So what do you do with that boulder in your way?

My answer is quite counter-cultural. I say: you have that boulder there because you need to get familiar, maybe even intimate with it so it will let you continue on your path.

Commitment comes from the soul. What are you committed to?

Committed? Commitment? What are we talking about?

I was in the Wisdom Course some 20 years ago. The leader asked us to open a new page in our notebook, and draw a vertical line in the middle, separating the page into two columns.

In the left column, he said, write down what you are committed to.
In the right column write down the actions you take regularly in those commitments.
If the right side doesn’t match the left side, cross out the left side. Left side is all talk… right side is reality
The exercise ended in him saying: you are not committed to any of the things you say you are committed to.

I see that in my practice, and honestly, I even see this in my own life… even though I should know better.

Whaat? Yeah… even me.

So let’s talk about commitment, and let’s first redefine it so it is not just talk, that it’s real.
