Is your vibration a good measure to ask for? What one number could be better?

Hundreds of people ask for their vibration, or their frequency… and none of them is too happy about what they get.

Why? Because they don’t know what to do with that number.

This article will explore a more useful number, a number that, if you are so inclined, can grow… and your vibration and life satisfaction will grow with it.
My training/coaching program focuses on another measure…
I had an insight today: instead of looking at the 67 steps as a collection of guidance, or even principles, it is a lot more useful to look at it as a dictionary of sorts.

What Is The Technology to Change Your Future?

When you track your current path on the map you will notice that it has a trend. The exact way you can tell from a short section of rails the direction they are heading. If you tell the truth, where that path is heading is not where you want to go… So what is there to do to change your future?

Let’s use the map of the United States for the sake of the visuals among you.

If you want to build a railroad from where you are to let’s say Seattle, what are the important things you need to know?

Where exactly are you?
What is the terrain like between where you are and Seattle?
What are the means that you can use to build your rail?

Some mornings I wake up fully and wholly hopeless.

This morning was one of those mornings.

I stepped on the scale, like I do every morning, and it showed a number .8 pound less than yesterday, that is like 400 grams, and my thought, my commentary, my meaning was: I’ll be a svelte thin corpse. Yaay for me!

My work is hopeless, I think.

25 cognitive biases

The power that incentives and disincentives have on the actions of others cannot be overstated. Munger says this should be obvious but so many people don’t understand the how important incentives are for shaping people’s motivation to complete a task.

Incentives and disincentives are extremely important in changing behavior.

Just follow Benjamin Franklin’s Maxim:

“If you would persuade, appeal to interest and not to reason”

“Never think about something else when you should be thinking about the power of incentives.”

“Incentives will almost always trump any moral duty”

‘The most important rule in management “Get the incentives right”‘

“Bad behavior is intensely habit forming when it is rewarded.”

These were some quotes from Charlie Munger on Reward and Punishment Super Response…

We ignore the faults of other people, products or companies that we admire.

According to Charlie Munger, a newly arrived human is born to like and love, and the strongest inborn tendency to love is that of a mother for its child.

Liking/Loving tendency makes the liker or lover tend to:
To ignore the faults of, and comply with wishes of the object of its affection.
To favor people, products and actions merely associated with the object of his affection as seen in bias 10 – influence from mere association.
To distort other facts to facilitate love.

We also ignore the virtues of those things we dislike and distort the facts to facilitate that hatred while putting on blinders to other options and opinions.

Disliking/Hating Tendency happens from the time the newly arrived human is also born to “dislike and hate”

1) Ignore the virtues in the object of dislike.
2) Dislike people products and actions merely associated with the object of his dislike.
3) Distort other facts to facilitate hatred.

Disliking distortions often makes mediation between opponents locked in hatred either difficult or impossible.

All from Charlie Munger’s Poor Charlie’s Almanack: The Wit and Wisdom of Charles T. Munger, Expanded Third Edition

If we are unsure about a decision we try to quickly remove any doubt by making an ill-informed, quick decision, this is doubt-avoidance tendency

Doubt-avoidance tendency is triggered by some combination of puzzlement and stress.

We have a reluctance to change. Eliminating bad habits is a rare trait.

The brain of man conserves programming space by being reluctant to change, which is a form of inconsistency avoidance.

Factors that create an anti-change and Inconsistency Avoidance Tendency mode in humans:

It facilitated faster decisions when speed of decision was an important contribution to the survival on nonhuman ancestors that were prey.
It facilitate the survival advantage that our ancestors gained by cooperating in groups, which would have been more difficult to do if everyone was always changing responses.
It was the best form of solution that evolution could get to i

How to Think For Yourself… or how not be a buffalo

When buffalo were still common in North America, Native American hunters learned a trick to hunt the herd animals. Buffalo don’t look up when moving as a group. In fact, if a few buffalo in a herd were startled into running, the entire herd would charge, even if most of the buffalo had no idea what they were running from.

The Native American hunters learned that if they encouraged a few buffalo to start running towards a cliff, the entire herd would run off the edge. The buffalo followed the group thinking, and couldn’t stop themselves–even when it meant their own deaths.

Although you’re probably not gullible enough to run off a cliff, it’s easy to stop thinking for yourself. It’s easy, because you don’t realize when you’re doing it. Thinking for yourself takes effort, and it’s easy to be tricked into going over the edge.

You don’t like me? The issue with wanting only positive guidance

I am reading many books, many articles. They all say that my life could be better, would be better if I just looked at the bright side of things. But that… looking at only the bright side of things, actually leads to a boring, inauthentic life. What makes good good is the contrast… No bad? Not looking at it? there suddenly isn’t good either… only boring, dull, dead. And you can’t sleep…

Moreover, if the purpose of life is to become all you can be, to see all you can see, then what helps you most is seeing what is not so great about you.

My base nature is to see what is off. In anything, anywhere.

It is not pessimism, because I don’t think it is something bad. It is what is off. It is not negativity, because I don’t limit my looking and I don’t limit my seeing to only what doesn’t work: I also see what works.

Life is dull when you see only one side of things…
The dullest people are the ones with the rose colored glasses… And inside, they are also conflicted, struggle with guilt, self-blame, and misery.

Creative Visualization: Will it work for you?

Creative visualization
is the technique of using mental images to realize certain objectives. It can help you achieve success and to accomplish your goals. It is a process that requires creativity, visual images, and a sharp and inventive way of seeing what the finished product, behavior, or result looks. It is a mental strategy, meaning it uses the resources of the mind with creativity to make ambitions come true. Creative visualization can be described as a self-help method which uses your thoughts to manifest what you long for in your own life.

Creative visualization is the strategy of utilizing a person’s capacity for thinking to picture specific behaviors or occasions taking place in a person’s life. It is the art of using mental imagery and a positive emotional relationship to that imagery to produce positive change in your reality. It is a way of utilizing little energy in the moment of constant practicing, to create yourself in harmony with the universe and the object of your desire. It can bring about abundance, happiness, joy, greater performance. The constant visualization re-calibrates your vibration to the level of vibration of what you want, be it material or emotional result. Creative visualization is the approach to attract your real-life goals and dreams and make those a reality.

If you find yourself scared, lost, discouraged, or stuck…

The power of intention

Most people don’t know it because they have never experienced the power of intention, because they don’t know how to get access to intention.

They never intend. They live inside wanting to, needing to, having to, and should… the horizontal plane, the Valley of the Shadow of Death… Fear of death, fear of annihilation.

While intention lives on the vertical plane.

One of the ways your vibration lowers, and your freedom is taken away is to hook you on fear or hate. Or helplessness. Or what I call the rag doll.

In fact hate is fear-based too.

Fear of annihilation.

Everyone gets hooked occasionally, but many are hooked permanently, unless they awaken from the nightmare.

If you find yourself temporarily hooked, there is still hope for you.

This is what this article is about… how to unhook yourself from the horizontal plane.

Unfortunately, of course, intention is part of what the responsibility gene allows you to wield… and responsibility is what separates humanity to powerful and powerless…

Because responsibility is the ability to use the god-abilities.

Is wanting like intention? No, although they FEEL similar.

The difference is under the hood: wanting wants the target, the ‘have’, while intending goes for the process, the doing.

When I observe, deep inside, my rag doll clients, I find that they 1. don’t have the causing capacity on, and they haven’t found a way to experience it, because they only have attention to the ‘having’.

Where attention goes, energy flows, and the energy flows to the having: the results. And mostly to the feeling of having the results.

Sometimes the results are purely having: feeing good about yourself.

But unless you redirect your attention to the doing, you’ll lose energy, you’ll lose interest, and you’ll lose the result.

So it’s a catch 22.

You want the result, you don’t want the process, the doing, you don’t want what belongs to you, and of course you don’t have the result.

So back to intention: why is it that only people who are at least 200 vibration that can muster intention?

It has something to do with intelligence, awareness, being able to tell your ass from a hole in the ground.

Under 200 you can’t.

The world, reality has two kinds of things in it: things that belong to you, and things that don’t.

Unless you can tell the difference, unless you learn to tell the difference, you are shit out of luck.

Not until you manage to raise your vibration to the power-threshold: to 200.

I have never asked this question… so if it goes a little shaky, a little chunky, forgive me, will you?

If you look around, all the people who talk a lot, all the people who talk a lot in their head, talk about what doesn’t belong to them.

And don’t talk about the things that do.

So what belongs to you?

1. what you do and how you do it. It belongs to you. You have a choice about it. To do or not to do. To do it with vigor, or

Wake up. Everything you want is outside of Plato’s Cave

I love Rob Brezsny’s horoscopes. They are a weekly wakeup call… a few lines of text that grab me by the nape and throw out into the real world, to come to my senses.

Here is what he writes about it:
Many of us are essentially asleep, even as we walk around in broad daylight. We’re so focused on the restless narratives and repetitive fantasies unfurling in our heads that we only dimly perceive the larger story raging in all of its chaotic beauty around us.

To have any hope of permanently breaking out of our fuzzy trance, we require regular shocks. A single jolt might cause us to briefly come to attention and see the miracle of creation for what it is, but once the red alert has passed, we relax back into our fixation on the dreamy tales our mind never stops telling us.
