Magic, miracles, energy work, woo woo… can you tell what you are getting?

I don’t believe in miracles. I don’t believe in spirits, angels, gods, dead people talking, walking, I don’t even believe in soul surviving your death. But I like magicians and magic tricks.

When you watch magic, it seems easy. It seems fast. I seems magical… doesn’t it?

Real magic takes hours, weeks, months worth of preparation, manufacturing of special equipment, without those most magic tricks will never happen.

I won’t mention the lots of practice here, because it doesn’t fit my agenda… lol.

I only rarely talk to other “spiritual teachers” or “energy practitioners”, because I am not attracted to them, we don’t seem to have anything in common.

But occasionally life throws one my way, and I have to talk to them.

This happened this past week, and it just hit me that I learned something important: they are magicians.

Soul Correction: Global Transformation

Soul Correction: Global Transformation

With a title like that, you would expect that a soul correction like that will encourage the human to direct all their attention outward and try to change, improve, transform other people’s lives.

But when it comes to soul correction, normal societal logic doesn’t apply.

If you want to cause anything outside of you, you really have to cause it inside of you. Bummer, right?

All the revolutionaries, and campaigners, and reformers, and global warming people, and conspiracy theorists, listen up!

You need to see what you said so you can say no to it

Do you remember the pie chart of all knowledge? The circle, the pie, represents all facts in the universe?

A tiny slice you know and you know that you know it. It is your address, it is your name, it is facts that you can prove.
Another tiny slice is all the things you know that you don’t know. For example you know that you don’t speak Japanese, unless, of course, you do.
The rest of the pie is the things that you don’t know that you don’t know. Some of it you think you know, but what you think is just isn’t so.

Are you a healer? How would you know?

The best scam people run on the internet is teaching people in classes to become a healer. Some even give certificates to teach these classes.

Before I realized what I can do, I was most interested in coaching… and the same thing is happening in the coaching industry.

I have seen “nutritionists”, Bach Remedy “specialists”, Reiki “masters” that paid some money to some Scheister to certify them to do work that they could not do.

It’s a cultural thing, not even personal.

People hide their desire to climb, to dominate over people, to be a “desire to receive for the self alone” person in do-gooding activities. Big money in teaching them. Big money if filling the world with people who think they can, but they can’t.

How you read is how you live… or are you doing the work that you love?

I love books that start slow, that allow me to be in the midst of things, give me insight into the character, the past of the character… simply said: that gives me a rounded picture without actually reducing the observations to assessment. The book allows me to make my own judgments, so it’s active reading: the story is co-created between the author and myself.

I even watch television that way… Netflix television, where I can stop the screen and reflect, sometimes for 10-15 minutes before I turn the movie or episode back on.

Now, contrast that with how you read.

Is it nourishing or is it titillating?

How our sense of what is nourishing and what is junk got atrophied

I like reading and watching investigative, detective, police procedural books and movies.

I have noticed a new trend: when I ask myself at the end of a show, for example, I have no idea what exactly happened, who done it… minutes after the show.

So how is that possible? Am I the only one, the only stupid person? And if not, how come the millions of viewers don’t cry bloody murder… to set the creators of the shows straight?

Is Christie Marie Sheldon: Vibrational Review. Updated

Is Christie Marie Sheldon A Fraud? This question keeps repeating in the searches on my site. The simple answer: I don’t know.

Hey, what is a fraud? Who is a fraud? If you promise something and you don’t keep your promise, that’s fraud. If you get in someone with false promises… that’s fraud.

If she says she is god, then she is a fraud. She is not god. Does she say that? I don’t think so.

If she says she can raise your vibration, then she is a fraud. In that regard.

She and her programs won’t raise your vibration permanently. But you will feel better while you listen to her… I probably would too… What else is she promising?

In my other article I have already said that the vibrational frequency of love is 540.

Since the time that I wrote that article, her vibration has dropped. I mean DROPPED.

It was 299 in August. Today, Christmas Eve of 2011 it is 200. (rechecking it in July 2012: it is still only 200)

Where do your worldview, expectations, beliefs, come from?

I just listened to a Frank Zappa song and I loved it.

Most people I know listen to music. What they call music is songs. You listen to them. And you are put in a trance. The songs areĀ  hypnotic in nature. They implant b.s. in your mind about HOW IT SHOULD BE. About the order of nature. Ugh. (aside: movies too)

I don’t understand the words in American or British songs, but I do understand them in my mother tongue, and those lyrics, although I haven’t heard those songs for 40 years, reverberate in my head.

Can I connect directly to your Consciousness to get you well?

Unexpectedly, I am finding myself doing health coaching on the Reclaim program.

Although that wasn’t my original intention, it turns out that if someone chooses to get well, get enough energy to live life well, to relate well, to find and live a purposeful life, then health coaching is their path, and my job is to accommodate it.

It’s a whole different coaching experience than my $200 per session health coaching: here I get daily feedback for weeks or months… invaluable.
