Financial Freedom: Why Context is decisive, or why your gurus are fake, why they are miserable, and why what they teach is crap

The Money Game One can get caught up in the “money game” on any levels of income. You can even get hooked in its tangles before you make any decision about what to do with your life… as in inherited from your parents, or getting hooked on the perks money gave you through stuff your parents bought you.

No matter when and how you got hooked, you can unhook yourself and be financially free.

What does “financially free” mean?

What Is The Meaning Of Life? What Is The Meaning Of Your Life?

People need leaders. Need leadership.

“Most people spend their lives walking around with their umbilical cords in their hands, looking for someplace to plug in.”

Life for a human needs to make sense. It needs to have a coherent story to make sense. Life without a coherent story has no meaning, and a life without meaning is unbearable, intolerable.

People (you?) are in a continual search for meaning.

Meaning that changes with what’s happening is maddening, and confusing, and cause you to shrink. Instinctively and predictably. So REAL meaning cannot come from the outside…

The story you tell is your reality. The story you tell the story you live. Don’t like it?Change it

I am still undecided about making my posts public. I will not stop writing, because writing is how I do my processing, and I will never want to stop processing. But whether I will make it available, my most secret, most precious thoughts to everyone off the street, that is a question I am pondering.

I attempted to turn the blog into a members only site, and it failed. Once burned twice shy, I am not sure what I want to do… So while I am processing this, I will still write articles, or republish others’ if it’s appropriate, like this one:
Nine Voices, Nine Movies

Each of us speaks and writes without thinking. This is why so much of what we say is predictable. Do you want to be more interesting? Choose an unusual perspective and verb tense. A movie begins in the mind of the listener every time you speak or write. At whom is your camera aimed?

Your current “core” identity. How to find it, how to build a better one?

I have written in a previous post that I discovered that my hidden identity is “worthless piece of junk = unwanted”. I use the word junk, because this expression is a translation from my native Hungarian. In the original the expression is closer to “nothing” than anything, by the way. But in English, I am afraid, that won’t communicate. “I am nothing”, does it?

From time to time I notice it “informing my mood, informing my actions.”

I found a blog that I enjoy reading. The writer of the blog is intelligent, inventive, and although we have a different base world view (he prays, I don’t) I like his blog a lot. I researched him this morning. All the pictures on his blog are white folks… turns out he is a good looking Black guy from Florida.

Hm. What must be his “core” identity that he won’t show his face on his blog?

Takeover of the planet through taking over your mind

The general public, including writers, can’t fathom anything less crude for mind-control than the affirmations in the Brave New World, or the microchip in Interface. A little bit more subtle is the method in Snow Crash, but not much.

The general public, including writers, cannot perceive, cannot conceive, cannot believe in the idea that mind-control is much more subtle, and it is going on all the time.

Or maybe how it is done in reality would not sell books? That is possible too.

Who is controlling your mind and to what end? What do they want that they are doing it… and they have been doing it for about seven thousand years… maybe even more.

How do you avoid feeling like a victim and take responsibility when clearly something was done to you?

Summary: Lifesaving method of taking back your power from anything or anyone, including yourself. It removes judgment, it removes blame, and returns you to living powerfully
I don’t have a lot of opportunities to practice this, but it is clearly needed. When I teach responsibility from the height of “I have this handled” no one seems to be getting it.

So here is my opportunity to teach it from the trenches, as I am going through the struggle myself.

Here is what happened:

Rules of engagement on the horizontal plane

I like French movies. For the most part they are off-kilter, and not obvious. Which means that they may not come from the mind, they may not come from the horizontal.

But, from time to time, they slip through a movie that pushes the band wagon, pushes the societal conspiracy to enslave you.

The movie that has been coming up in my mind with a sense of urgency, is the movie “My Best Friend”.

That is a move where the main character, an art dealer, forced, by a bet, to befriend someone.

Who is running your life, the entrepreneur you or the accountant you?

Just like a company, shrinking looks like a good way to increase profitability.

But business may be (it isn’t) about profitability, but life isn’t.

When someone asks me what is the surest path to Expanding Human Being, I always bring up Bob the Butler. Or the quote and principle from the Neal Stephenson book: Diamond Age. Start living an interesting life. When your goal is not to win every step of the way, it is not to shrink to the size that you can manage, but to grow through trials and failures to the sky: i.e. an interesting life.

Why do some people get fantastic results from the activators or the remedies and others get nothing or not much?

Maxwell Maltz, the creator of the program and methodology Psycho Cybernetics, was a plastic surgeon. Plastic surgery, as a rule, is to make someone more beautiful.

Many of his patients, though, didn’t get what they hoped for. Everyone said that they were beautiful, but they could not see their new you, only the ugly that they wanted to get rid of.

We could say that they had a filter that allowed only the imperfections through. I think that this “theory” is more accurate than Maxwell Maltz’s theory of self-image.

The invisibles, the secret to taking charge of your life

What are the invisibles?

A student of mine emailed me a few seconds ago.

She says: I grieve the loss of the camaraderie. And the affectionate joking that was so much fun. Is it dead, or does it have a chance of returning some day?

My answer to that was short, cryptic: “look at yourself first… always”

I am certain that she received it as an insult. But what was my answer? It was coaching.

When the saying says: There are three mysteries of life: Air to a bird; water to a fish; and man to himself.
