Modern gurus: The business of consolation, the business of confirmation

I had a “guru” ask for his vibration today. Nice guy. Low vibration.

Another guru, some 6 years ago told him that there was no need to seek, he could start his own guru business…

Horrible disservice.

I just distinguished something about humility: Humility and growth mindset are synonymous.

Lack of humility and fixed mindset are also synonymous.

From time to time I run experiments where I work with one student beyond what they pay for, to test out a methodology I hope will be instructive and will work for most students.

Most people have a fixed mindset.

What does fixed mindset have to do with skills?

Unfortunately a whole lot. Why unfortunately? Because if you have fixed mindset, you somehow, magically, think that skills are innate and you don’t have to learn them.

But neither knowledge, nor skills are innate: humans were designed to be shaped by their own actions primarily. That means: your genetic heritage counts about 10% of who you are, and 90% comes from environmental influences, including your own efforts, attitudes, and actions.

One will say: bummer. Another will say: thank god.

And both will be right…

I have added a new measure to the Starting Point Measurements: humility. Humility is the measure whether you can grow or not

True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less. Wrote Rick Warren in The Purpose-Driven Life, where it appears as part of Day 19, “Cultivating Community.”
When you have “thinking of yourself” block or filter what you are looking at, you end up in a small box that is all about you.

There is no joy there.

I just finished my Sunday call… unfortunately I forgot to turn on the recorder… it was all about this principle, about how different people have a different amount of time spent thinking of themselves, and how the amount of misery they experience differs, very consistently, accordingly.

Different soul corrections place different amount of emphasis on “it is all about you”, so each of us gets a different start in life… some are more about it than others.

Want to know yours?

Gandhi Quotes That Work Well With Activation

Inspired Gandhi quotes

Responsibility : “You must be the change you want to see in the world.”

Responsibility: “As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”

Responsibility: “Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

Forgiveness: “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”

Birthday musings

It’s my birthday today, and I guess, I should be doing something other than work… but I love working, so I am going to do as much of it today as i can.

What is great about having all this Social Media is that people are reminded that I have a birthday, so people come out of the woodwork.

But people do it in their inimitable way.

Self-expression… or maybe self-expression?

Some act as if they were the one stirring the soup of the Universe, and therefore had the right to tell me how to be, who to be… I have removed them from my mailing list. Unless I hired you to be my coach, your coaching is not welcome.

Yet others, who are stingy… your stinginess is expressed in everything you do and say. Especially in the “you are welcome” part… That “you are welcome” shows that they think more than 90% of the time about themselves… and nothing else.

Becoming Like God, Clinging To The Tree of Life

Becoming Like God, Climbing The Tree of Life
This is a very old article. The truth value of this article is only 10%… my newer articles’ truth value is 60%. And yet… this article has elements of truth… 10%…

I wrote it on my birthday in 2011…

There are two fundamental ways to live life, and that reflects in every choice we make, every thought we have, every action we take.

One way is to say: ‘I am all I can be, and my job is to make the best with what I have got. If I choose to grow, I have schools to go to, I have people who know more than I do, and I can learn from them.’ This is the Tree of Knowledge way.

God Doesn’t Have A Thumb or Will You Dance?

I am never made to watch a movie that is not what I need to watch.

It also could be that I am mono-maniac, that I have a one-track mind… who cares, right?

Today, in the middle of the day, I was taken to the movie “The Girl on The Bridge.” It is a french movie from 1999. On the surface it seems to be about luck and about two people, unlucky apart, lucky together.

Sometimes the worst thing can become the best thing

Sometimes the worst things can become the best things.

At least in this case I hope.

George Bernard Shaw said: ‘Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.’

Now, if you are here, on my site, in my courses to get progress, for yourself, for your life, then you need to change your mind.

Why Does Source Need A Human For Raising The Vibration Of The Planet?

In the past 36 hours, I have been torn between wanting to have MY life, MY work to be witnessed, and getting the work done.

When I looked at the failed attempts of Source finding a human to represent humanity , this is what I find:

In order for a human to be able to complete the divine assignment of activating the Original Design on all humans on Earth, this human needs to transcend their desire to gain, through this activity

1. money
2. fame
3. notoriety
4. personal significance
