12 steps toward becoming truly who you are: the Playground program

The Playground program: the history
Back in 1988 when I first created the Playground: It is never too late to have a happy childhood, I’d just come out from participating in a 12-step program, similar to AA, but for people who suffered from the behavior of the alcoholic.

It turns out, that a troubled household with troubled parents creates the same symptoms as one with an alcoholic parent: a lack of safety. My parents weren’t alcoholic, but their behavior was erratic. One day I was beaten up for a behavior, the next it was ignored… Nerve wrecking. There was nothing I could count on to be quasi permanent and reliable. It’s a miracle that I didn’t withdraw into schizophrenia.
What’s good about 12-step programs?
Anyway, I liked the environment of a 12-step meeting: the meeting had principles, but it had no coaching, no rebuttal, no arguments, it was a very adult and equals program, as opposed to any other place in the world.

Authority: have you given it away?

In your life you live as if you had no authority over your life.

Authority means: the power to call the shot. The power to make decisions, the power to have them carried out. The power to evaluate, accept or reject.

You have been instructed by family, schools, government, medical establishment, legal establishment, and gurus to hand over your authority to everyone and their brother.

You’ve been an idle mouthpiece to all these authorities. Not a single independent thought, not a single argument.

What do I mean? I mean the practice of looking who is speaking.

The Game of Life: Are You Trying To Win The Game With Just One Cannon?

Higher Vibrational Frequency and Winning In The Game of Life: Will You Choose It?
I had a totally weird feeling this morning. It felt like everything that is in this universe is just one of the many universes, and it is really all about how I play the game.

Want to become competent in life? Competence is rare… even professionals are not very competent

I watched, mostly listened to the “masterclass” selling Eric Edmeades’ Wildfit course.

The truth value of what Eric Edmeades said was 30%. There was nothing in it that was untrue… it just cannot go higher when you have a product for mass consumption, a one size fit all product.

Eric Edmeades’ vibration is 200.

As in every masterclass, he was having a conversation with Vishen Lakhiani, who looks fabulous, but is insufferable, for the most part. His vibration is 150.

Are you the solution or are you the problem?

I am sitting here. In a few hours I have a brainstorming call with a student of mine, who is, who has been, who is proving to be impossible to train… and I am scared and angry.

This article is the process in which I change my context for the call, so I can make a difference… or not… Inside the current context all I can do is yell… Not what I want my life to be. So, here we go…
Useless vs Priceless
Or said in another way: are you the solution or are you the problem?

As a little boy or as a little girl, you made some decisions about yourself, what it is that you were supposed to get, how to get what you want.

Playground: It is never too late to have a happy childhood… Turn around fast enough to catch your shadow

This article explains how come that you can only interact with Maya, which is “not that” in Sanskrit, i.e. not reality, illusion, shadow play, the hologram, etc. It is much less mystical than the Vedanta imagines it: it is quite simple and it’s explained in this article. Without the capacity that I speak about here, you are doomed to continue living in Maya for all your life. But in Maya, you are fighting with shadows, the shadows of reality, and fighting shadows you don’t have any power. So this article shows you the key to power, the key to effectively living your life, accomplishing what you came to accomplish and ultimately to fulfillment and satisfaction. Is that exciting enough for you?
How does your mind avoids transformation? It seems quite simple, but it is hard to get, because the mind doesn’t even allow you to see it once…

Only when you notice that you are not looking that you start looking. When someone else points it out, you clam up… and will NOT look…

So what do you actually do when I ask you to look? When I ask you to notice? When I want you to catch yourself?

Weird as it may sounds: you go, instantly, seamlessly, and unawares to the mind’s main function: meaning.

Anything that has meaning attached to it, i.e. it “means” something, is already one removed from observation.

The key to the evolution of the human species finally discovered…

This article: I started to write this article yesterday, before a class… I wanted to use the class to get some more “meat” into the issue… The class went different: it, instead, magically took me to the root of all misery, and to the evolutionary issues of humanity, and to the question: can evolution be caused? Triggered?

In a lot of ways this has been a question, I think, for a long time. People that were ahead of their time asked this question, in one way or another.

So far there haven’t been any successful attempts at causing evolution. There are fairy tales of some incidents, but muscle test shows that they are just that: fairy tales.

One of them is the story of the Hundredth Monkey: the story tries to illustrate evolution, but it makes many mistakes in its setup, and shows a deep lack of understanding of how it all works, how evolution works.

So, I am trying my hand on this thing that no one has ever succeeded before, but my approach is different from others’ which doesn’t mean I’ll succeed, but it is worth testing.

What if it is unlikely that you can become the best version of you? Is it still worth going for it?

Something I just read made me get up from bed and come back to my computer. It is something I have almost forgotten… even though it was one of the most important things I have ever learned.
It is: instead of fighting the bad, grow the good.
Of course, some of the principles we live by become invisible… this is one of those.

It’s not my invention. In fact the two wolves the Indian (Native American) tale speaks of, use exactly this principle: feed the good in you.

But the way it was worded in the book I just read was more profound. It says: Let me grow more of the good myself so the bad is less of me.
I didn’t need to kill the iceman (in me). I didn’t even need to fight him. I just needed to make more of myself, so that he would be less of me.

Reality… the pragmatic approach that removes the misery, the suffering, even frustration

Back in the early 70’s I had a live-in boy friend, who was a philosophy student. His father was a famous philosopher, was a Hegel expert.

Hegel, I hear, is one of the most impenetrable philosopher to me. The family, father and three sons, had regular philosophy lessons.

I am not interested in philosophy, not a debating/argumentative person, but lately I am encountering philosophical questions that are at the root of my teaching: teaching you to be in harmony with life, teaching you to live a happy life.

One of the most important questions here is what is reality, what is real, because all that unhappiness we experience comes from what is not real.
