Starting Point Measurements profile analysis #2

Starting Point Measurements profile analysis #2

The subject of this starting point measurements is young, still in school. Yet I don’t know her.

Because she is so young, I went into more details than I normally would, because it is going to be easier for her to change and get on the strait and narrow that leads to a good life, than for an adult. It is also a guidance more for the mother than for herself: I don’t even know if she knows that I measured her starting point measurements.

So, here you go:

Meme vs. a personal belief. Can you change either? Money, happiness, health… are they unattainable to you?

Meme vs. a personal belief… let me enlighten you about the differences.

In the Starting Point Measurements, #11 To what degree you think of yourself is a crucial indicator.

#11 indicates to what degree you can tell if something is yours or not yours. If that something is about you or not about you.
The meme that everything is personal is strengthened by the so-called spiritual teachers, who will help you get rid of your money beliefs, or love beliefs, or food/body beliefs?
By saying these beliefs are personal, they are on the side of the conspiracy, the memes, not on your side.

By saying these are subconscious beliefs, YOUR beliefs, and that you can beat them… like Mind Movies peddler Natalie Ledwell suggests that you can, they use these memes to line their pockets and empty yours.

Even the theory of famed psychiatrist, Carl Jung, who calls it “the collective subconscious” is flawed.

Opinion? How should you hear what someone says?

What is the difference between an opinion and an assessment, an observation, a statement, a theory, a hypothesis?

Many people use one word for many different things…

I have this “friend” who climbs the same steps I climb, except that he climbs it seven times each time, I climb it once or twice. He is a little younger than me.

I am fond of him: he is one of the handful of people I regularly talk to, eye to eye.

I often walk with him as he walks home: I guess I am hungry for human companionship: 10-20 minutes at a clip.

Are you teachable?

I help people become the person who can have what they want to have. Will I be able to help you?
This is really the bottom line promise I have for you. But like every promise, it is conditional. Conditional on you… on you being teachable.

Reframing: our tool for creating

You’ve heard of the expression: like a deer caught in the headlights syndrome: frozen, seeing the world one way with no escape route.

Most people live their whole lives in that state: see the world in a fixed way.

To one degree or another we are all are like that.
The more of your life is lived in that state, the more powerless you feel, the less options, the less choices you see.
You can examine any two people with different results in life and you’ll see that they are stuck in one view of the world, but their view is different.

Obviously, having new choices, having new options, having different actions available to you is a good thing if you want to have a life worth living.
People who feel out of control, people who feel that they don’t have a say in what happens to them, are people with depression.

Success secret: experimentation

If you find that your life, your oceanliner that is stuck in a tight bay isn’t turning around, this article will teach you something that the knowing of can make a difference.
Remember, when life isn’t working as you expected, there is something that you didn’t know… and it is always in the invisible realm of reality… And so is with this one.
As I said before, ess, evolutionary stable strategy, is where humanity finds itself, where you personally find yourself, and when you muscle test anything, it is ess, aka the selfish gene is what answers your question… unless you muscletest while connected to a higher-than-the-genes consciousness.

OK, that was quite a mouthful. Sorry about that…

Wherever you are in life, in any area of your life, you are in ess. In ess your actions, your ideas, your advisement will come from a “source” that wants to maintain that ess… If you are fat… then maintain being fat. If you are inactive, then maintain inactivity. If you are always engaging in bombastic dreams, then maintain that… engaging in bombastic dreams.

If you act in life like you already know what you need to know, then ess wants to maintain that. If you read, then maintain reading, if you don’t, then maintain not reading.

Reframing: is losing weight hard? is it hard work?

I wrote this article in 2017. It has some truth, but not all that much… I am fat again, and the weight, this time, doesn’t want to move. I don’t walk… so take it with a grain of salt… Please.

I went grocery shopping today on my own. I was carrying some 20 lbs of groceries up the steps to get home.

This was the first time in maybe 6-7 years. I don’t drive. So I walked and took the bus and walked some more.
Why am I doing this?
Life tends to make us soft, complacent, comfortable, and comfortable people don’t grow, don’t evolve. In fact they devolve, they shrink.

So when I first had this brought to my attention, in one of the steps of the 67 steps, I set out to make life and myself comfortable with nob being comfortable… and I started to devise new and newer ways to toughen up.

I keep the house at a steady 47 degrees. I walk. I now walk to get my grocery. I walked this week to get a haircut. I refrain from palliative remedies.

It is a great idea to read Freud’s ‘Civilization and its discontents’ to see what you, humans do to deal with the fact that life is hard.

He says: Life, as we find it, is too hard for us; it brings us too many pains, disappointments and impossible tasks. In order to bear it we cannot dispense with palliative measures
Life is hard, but you can start dealing with life instead of running from the hardness, instead: dealing with the hardness. Dealing with life.
The benefits are immeasurable, whereas the palliative measures benefits are tiny.

One benefit is developing, opening up new spiritual capacities. The ones that will, eventually, lift you to the next evolutionary stage: human being.

When you start directing and controlling your epigenetic shifts where you actually cause your genetics change, its exhilarating. And change you to in ways you have always hoped you would change.

I ran into Leo, my musician friend. I explained to him that carrying those 20 lbs of groceries illustrated to me what it was like to climb the steps a year ago, when I was about 20 lbs heavier. In 18 months I shed 40 lbs.
He said: Losing 40 pounds is hard work.
I said ‘no it isn’t…’ He wanted to know how, and I told him that is what I get paid the big bucks for. He laughed, but it got me thinking.

There is a secret that is worth a lot of money:

As long as you eat food that isn’t compatible with your body and wants more of itself… and as long as you eat in a way that isn’t working for your body, you are going to suffer from deprivation… And although that is not work, not in the strict sense of the word, losing weight while you are dealing with a sense of deprivation, hunger, cravings is hard.

The two components of a successful and easy eating regimen, 1. what you eat, and 2. how you eat are equally important.

I haven’t written about the eating styles lately, even though, I see that eating according to your eating style is about 50% of success.

I am still not 100% adhering to mine, by

Your life-success score is low… how do you raise it?

Your starting point measurements tell me the whole story that you are.
And the picture of putting all those starting point measurements also tells me how humanity as a whole is doing.

Pitiful. But why?

Most people think that what they do when they are at their best, when they go to church in their best church-going outfit, is who they are.

Or the all smiles pictures they post on social media.

What you do, who you are, what you listen to 90% of the time gives you the

It is the week of Thanksgiving… Why can’t you feel gratitude? Why your thanksgiving is hollow?

This morning I received an email from a young man who paid me to measure his starting point measurements.

He could be speaking for you.
I need to take better care to my physical body. Like you said, drinking more water is the first step.
I don’t take care of my body, and I can’t understand why.
I feel like I’m missing gratitude. I hate to say it but I don’t feel grateful, and I don’t understand why.
Gratitude probably will come up to everyone, at least in the United States, where this week is Thanksgiving week… and you are supposed to be grateful. Or pretend that you are.
The more lavish your Thanksgiving, the more money you spend, the more food on the table, the more you do it to cover up that you are pretending. And pretense is the killer of the spirit.

Should you become a client? Would I even accept you as a client?

For decades one of my sore spots was that people refused to serve me, even though I paid them.

I remember saying to myself: my money is not good enough for you? and wept.

I had no idea how I “accomplished” that… in 20/20 hindsight it is still a little spotty.

What wasn’t clear to me, never even occurred to me, how my attitude effected the service provider. My “To what degree you think of yourself:” starting point measure was, at the time, 70%. From my behavior I would have guessed it was higher.

Mainly I overrode what they said. I argued, I knew better, I acted with contempt…

What I didn’t know then is that being a service provider needs to be a win, or no service.

A customer who is not happy is a drag on an provider, and not worth the little (or even a lot of) money they pay.

I was that kind of customer…
