Turning your life around on a dime… or how to become a winner in life

In this article I am going to illustrate a method of turning your life around, going from mundane, boring, safe, and probably unhappy, to a life that excites you, a life of adventure, and joy.

The example is real: I went through this just about an hour ago… so it is real and it’s fresh. Here you go:
I have been waking up every morning disappointed that I woke up. I have had the

“I only woke up in the morning because I didn’t die the night before”

This morning I sat on the edge of my bed, looking at this mood, curiously. The “I” that was watching, was sympathetic and compassionate to the miserable “I” that was sitting on the edge of the bed.

“But it makes no difference,” the miserable I said. “People are set in their ways, the dark side wins by numbers, and no matter what I do, it makes no difference… not really!” it continued its whining.

Tough choices: knowing what’s important

Tough choices: knowing what’s important

Life is really so incredible perfect when you are committed to something, and therefore you look at everything through that commitment.

Here is a quote I had attached to my kitchen cabinet for four years. When I moved it was impossible to save it: it crumbled… lol. It has an awful lot to do with who I am today, and the incredible results I was able to produce in those four years:

Can you be with it? Can you have that thing there, threatening as it might be, and just be? And observe? And do nothing?

Can you be with it? Can you have that thing there, threatening as it might be, and just be? And observe? And do nothing? None of your buttons pushed, none of your usual anger, or whatever… just silence, just peace, just emergence?

It is the most evolved state. It looks similar to ignorance… like all of Germany ignoring, turning a blind eye to the genocide of undesirables, of which Jews were just one group. Homosexuals, gypsies, communists, intellectuals that didn’t cooperate…

Ignorance comes from not caring. Ignorance is an animal state. It is the ultimate “desire-for-the-self-alone” because if you didn’t see it you don’t have to do anything, you don’t have to feel anything, including fear, oneness, you can just continue being sheep.

Will the Soul in you cry when it’s time to die, or is it going sigh a sigh of relief that the boredom is ending?

I have been pondering what is the Soul’s attitude, the Soul’s relationship to dying.

After all the Soul is immortal, at least relative to the physical body. But what does it mean? How does it feel? What does the Soul think about that? And does the Soul come back and know it has been here before? And how does it relate to the new body, if that is how it work?

Great questions, no answers until this morning.

Dark Energies, Light Energies… How does it work? How does the energy get to you, for whom is it intended?

Energies, just like light, need a carrier. Energies are not a bodiless, shapeless woo-woo thing: they are vibrational in their nature. In total vacuum, the energy cannot advance: there is no carrier.

What are suitable carriers for energies? Air, liquids, especially water, and sound. Obviously sound is already a derivative: without something to carry the sound vibration, there is no sound…

I’ll use sound to illustrate.

If there is no carrier, if there is no matter, sound dissipates.

But sound itself can become a carrier. The energy you want it to carry will modulate the “original” sound, it will combine: you will get the original sound and the inaudible sound of the energy.

Reverse the meaning, flip the context of your most traumatic incident

One of the transformational moves I use with my students is “flipping the context.”

Context is decisive, and the context inside which you live your life is what makes your life great or horrible… not what happens to you.

Here is an example of flipping the context from my favorite horoscope writer, Rob Brezsny:

How can YOU connect to YOUR Soul? And when you do, what do you ask for? Are you eating soup with a fork?

What is the Soul? Where is the seat of the Soul? How can YOU connect to YOUR Soul? What does the Soul do?

Before I can talk to you about the Soul I need to take a detour to explain something:

I live like a hermit. I go out once a week on a set route: chiropractor, mail box, grocery store one and two, bank, and back home. I don’t drive, I have a driver.

Why am I doing this? So I can devote my whole life to my life’s purpose: Living on the edge, generating distinctions of transformation for humankind.

Now, doesn’t that sound like a contradiction? it actually seems like I am not living at all, let alone on the edge… lol.

Your Biggest Pain Is Your Biggest Blessing, or How To Awaken The Soul’s Desire

In this 2011 article I will show you how I connected to Soul, and through that connection how I have been able to awaken the desire to connect.

As I have said in other articles, desire is necessary to open the spigot of light… Desire opens and closes this spigot, and you can control desire.

The biggest issue is to awaken this desire: it is not active in Soul.

All the modalities, all the methodologies that talk about soul’s desire, try to cause your conscious self’s desire, and that desire doesn’t open the spigot. This is how I did it…

In 2010, October, I took a program, called the Landmark Forum, for the 20th time.

Why on earth would I do something for 20 times? Well, there was something that I wanted to uncover, that in all the Landmark programs I had never able to get a glimpse of. I wanted to discover how come that in spite of all my talents, in spite of all my diligence, I was never able to stay above “just over broke.”

How did you get to be the way you are? Unhappy, low vibration, self-conscious, depressed, fearful? How The Dark Side rules you?

The following is an excerpt from the novel, The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand. It is an apt description of how evil takes over the world.

It’s long, but please read it. Read it a few times, so you can identify yourself and the ideology that got you to be miserable, empty, merely surviving. Pay special attention on how guilt plays a role in that.

Enjoy.

Elsworth Toohey is like a spiritual figurehead, a leader, a teacher, a thought leader, like the church…
Peter Keating is like you… hearing for the first time how he has sold his soul and to whom.

We find out who is the Devil, who is the Evil, who is the Dark Side and what how it gains power:

You Are Making Bad Decisions Emotionally

I wrote this article about making decisions emotionally back in 2013… and reading it was amazing: I actually now see how far I have come…

OK, here is the original article:

You are not stupid, you are just making your decisions emotionally
‘If you want to live with the masses, think emotionally. If you want to live with the middle class, think positively. If you want live with the world class, think critically.’ –Steve Siebold
I have been impulsive and hasty as long as I can remember. And I have known myself, by my results, stupid, stupid as the stupid does, as long as I remember.

My results in any endeavor, any relationship, and the business of life have been anything but stellar. Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes.

The past 4-5 years I have been paying attention, but bad habits die slowly or never, and I am, for the most part, behaving the same way as I behaved all my life, hasty moves, jumping into conclusions, only to discover moments or days later that I didn’t look before I leaped.

I wish I were flawless, but then I would be useless as a teacher: when you are effortlessly good at something, then you can’t teach it: you have no distinctions in the area of your expertise. Only when you can go, through your own awareness, from bad to good, that you have something useful to offer to the world that wants to follow you.

This is the main issue, by the way, with many of the famed and revered teachers, like Osho or Eckhart Tolle. They are really nice to read, very nurturing, but impossible to follow. Because they never went from where you are to where they are… they somehow found themselves there, using none of their own effort.
