Are you willing to become a prosperous “neighborhood”?

I republished an article, that is as important as anything you’ll ever learn, if you wanted to live a life of an expanding human being…

Response when I first published it: no echo. Response this time: no echo. Nobody heard it. Nobody saw it. Nobody was interested.
.
.
The article is pinpointing the reason why you have what you have, and not what you want to have.

Your attitude: are you mirroring the attitude of the other?

I consider myself quite aware, quite present, and yet… I am still finding out stuff that I have had no idea about.

Your attitude, more often than not, comes as a mirror of your “opponent’s”… partner’s, “the other”.

One of the automatic behaviors happens without any thinking on our part: mirroring.

It is one of those phenomena when you act and then justify it later.

Example: I called on a participant yesterday, or was it on Monday?

I found myself tensing up, I found myself arguing.

The difference between you and me, is that I caught myself. What tipped me off is that I had no reason to be confronted, or confrontational. I was at peace about the topic, about the participant, about life. So suddenly hearing myself arguing was a dead giveaway.

What if nothing will happen in 2012? What if it is just like the y2k scare? Urgency vs. Emergency

What if nothing will happen in 2012? What if it is just like the y2k scare?

Great question. It depends.
In this article I will examine what it is that you can do to prepare to 2012, whether there is going to be a calamity or not. I am using new, unfamiliar distinctions, so if you are not prepared to do any work, stop right here and leave. Bye.

Now, for those of you that are willing to pull yourself up by your hair or bootstrap, this may be one of the most important articles to read… If anything is not clear, just comment below. I’ll answer all questions personally.

Acceptance: what it is, what it isn’t

Acceptance… does it mean you like it? Does it mean you condone it? Does it mean you want it? Does it mean you are a doormat?

Accepting things the way they are, people the way they are and the way they aren’t, is the key to happiness.

But, as I am finding out, there is a confusion about what acceptance means.

For it to be clear, we need to first look at resistance.

Overcome Fear of Failure – My first attempt of many to master making short videos

I don’t think I have every written anything about fear of failure. I have been known as fearless… and I knew myself as fearless…

Yesterday I had a rude awakening: I had a new way to look at my activites, a new perspective, and I discovered, to my utter dismay, that many things I know I should do, I know I would benefit from doing, I am not doing. Darn… WTF?!

But once you see it, it is out of the bag.

Teaching the way a fig tree grows… from the top down

For 17 miserable years I was an architect in three countries. Unfortunately I brought myself with me…

I was, for a time, part of a team that introduced a new building method: building from the top down…

I won an architectural competition with it, I also won an award of excellence for a building built that way.

The method may work in architecture, and it definitely works for the fig tree…

The cabbage didn’t become cauliflower without training

Just one more thing: the cabbage didn’t become cauliflower without training…
And you cannot become cause without training either…
So if you think DNA activation by itself will make you a human being, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Even though you’ll have the capacity… and now with the 14 second audio you do, you still need TRAINING in using it.

How present are you? the common notion and the reality of being present

There is a video at the end of this post to test how present you are…

When I tell people to be present, or to get out of their mind, they understand it this way:
Be present to everything around you. The beauty, the ugliness, the sun, the wind, people.
Or alternatively, while doing guided meditation, pay attention to what the guide, the leader of the meditation tells you to pay attention to, your breathing, relaxing, whatever.
This type of notion seems to make it wrong when you are paying attention to what you are doing, thinking (as in problem solving), etc. Because you are present to one thing and one thing only.

Why Do You Need Self-Discipline And Will-Power To Achieve Higher States Of Consciousness? The Path To Grace and Ease

A “normal” human is weak, weak willed, and behaves in a pleasure seeking way.

A “normal” human being, when asked why they do what they do, they always have a because. Their whole being is effect: they are never the cause of their own action, their own feelings, their own thoughts.

The world of humans is an interplay of cause and effect. Rare humans are the cause of their actions. They are in higher states of consciousness. They don’t need an outside cause: they act as their own authority.

To go from “normal” human being, meaning weak willed and pleasure seeking, ordinary consciousness, you will need to develop capacities that are not taught in school, and they are not even encouraged.

When I first learned this whole distinction, responsibility, or said in another way, being a cause, the occasion was being late. I was late, and I had good reasons: I started late, the weather, the train schedule, the cab driver, the elevator… a slew of reasons.

The trainer suggested that I become cause of my being late. I tried, “I am late because I am forgetful…” but as he explained, I mean the trainer, that would still be something other than me being the cause. If it is an internal and inherent weakness that causes something, I am still a victim, I am still an effect.
