How to go from passenger to the driver of your life?

The secret is SEEING.

Seeing is a metaskill, says the visual artist.

He probably meant a skill that takes you to the next century. Because it is undeniable that as the world changes, the skillset that makes people make a living even now is not enough to make a living in the future…

Meta, the word, means a go-between. Like a bridge. Going between one and another piece… Like the gap between two things.

And maybe I am twisting words, but unless you have that bridge between how it is, and how you envision it, there is no path.

When I look at the people I have trained, I have consulted, I have had conversations with, the most obvious missing skill was this bridge: seeing it, building it, walking it.

Seeing. What? How? How far? How wide? How astutely?

If seeing is our access to everything, then seeing is our most important skill.
It is actually a metaskill… A meta-skill is a permanent part of you that enables you to achieve things. Metaskills get more and more important as the new kind of work… the future of work. And life…

But, unfortunately, when I look, according to my measures, it is our ability to see is the ability most taken for granted.

We, at any moment, feel that we see everything… except that even the best of us only see some of what there is to see, and the average sees about 3% of what would make them happy, healthy, loved, and prosperous. 3%… while they think they see it all.

We need to LEARN to see… whaaat? Yeah…
So in this article I’ll attempt to list all the ways seeing or not seeing makes a difference for your life.
Seeing and labeling, seeing an interpreting arise exactly at the same time… this is why so many of us can’t see what we see, we can only see what we’ve said about what our visual perception organ said about it.

If you want to compare people, and really know what the difference between them, instead of looking only at their performance, results, happiness, etc. you’d be better at looking at what they see, how they see it, how far they see, how wide they see, and how astutely they interpret them.

Why? Because you can learn to see more, better, farther, wider, and more astutely, while you don’t have much power, directly, over your results.
Your attitudes come directly from what you see. Directly.
And even though you and another dude see, supposedly the same thing, his behavior is going to be different, his results are going to be different, based on one single thing: what they see and what they say about it.

Most of my students have a base way to look at the world. They evaluate what they see by what they wanted to see. And what they see is not what they wanted to see 90% of the time.

So they see what they see through a very binary filter… and can’t see any shade, anything in between, any opportunity, any beauty, any good thing in it… because of that filter.

When they allow that filter to become more malleable, allow some gray come in through it, their life’s become a whole lot more manageable, and they start seeing more opportunities for being.

So when we look at the title of this article and ask the same question, the way most people on the planet look at the world is black and white, good or bad, right and wrong.
We call this The Valley of The Shadow of Death level… or the horizontal plane.
We see only things we either want or don’t want. Neutral things remain invisible… unimportant.

Our attitude, our mood, regarding what we see enters through the filter of ‘this is it’ or ‘this isn’t it’. Right or wrong. What we wanted or we don’t want this. Emotionally we swing wildly between euphoria and despair.

We don’t see beyond the immediate… where it goes, what may be beyond it is not visible… Other

Love. Loving. Can you love more? Less? Can anyone?

Loving is like being pregnant. You can’t be more pregnant than pregnant. Even pregnant with two babies is just that, pregnant.

And, by the same token, you can’t love someone more. You either love them or you don’t.

Pregnant, love, respect, are intrinsic in nature. They also have no opposites, like values on the systemic level of value. An they don’t have a scale…

Life is easiest to navigate, easiest to understand, and easiest to ‘dance with’ if you know that values have three tiers. Each tier with its own rules of engagement.

Something keeps you down… do you know what it is?

One of the signs of intelligence is for someone to be able to see and actually see the big picture.

To see you need to look. Look and see.

Most never look. Or when they look they are looking for something, which means they narrow their cone of vision… to minuscule width.

Results: most people never see what there is to see.

Today the average intelligence is not high enough for the average intelligence person to even appreciate looking wide and deep… Even the average asks: look for what?

Heroism vs. incremental process: choosing will choose your life for you

I just read an article on our mindset, collective mindset, where you wait until something goes really wrong and then you seek out help. It’s here in pdf form… for your convenience. incremental-medicine

This is the mindset that will move you out of trouble and towards a successful life in every area of your life, health, wealth, love, and happiness.

But this is not how you live. You live your life campaigning.

Anything that doesn’t require drama, heroism, anything that is not over the top is ignored, poo-pooed, looked down upon. In every area of life. By you, and by “them”. You dream of being a billionaire while your bills aren’t paid. You dream of a private jet while your credit cards are maxed out. You dream of being a rock star while you haven’t been able to play one song well.

You don’t know, or you ignore the cause of your misery, and then you need rescuing.

Add 20 points to your IQ

It is starting to dawn on me that the intellectual action of seeing the forest, in spite of the individual trees is not something everyone has been able to do.

Seeing.

Some people, when they are asked to say what is the forest, in our conversations: what is the principle, what is the context, they use jargon… like integrity, or responsibility, the word.

They remember it.

But remembering hearing it doesn’t mean that they actually saw it.

Seeing the forest for the trees is 90% from the DNA capacity: Seeing the big picture, and 10% habit.
After courage, it is the second most missing capacity in humanity.
When activated, it adds 20 points to your IQ.

Your life story is like a black hole. Your Bach profile

Your tendency is to remember the story. Not what happened but your story. And to tell the story in a predictable manner… always the same way, always showing you in the same role, the same exact way.

A story is a narrative of reality. It talks from one particular vantage point, and therefore it is distorted. Always. Inherently so.

Your tendency is to remember the story in a way that agrees with your soul correction.

Soul correction, it could be said, is this slant of reality that lets you get away with murder, lies, laziness, blaming, simply said: being less than giving your best.

My story can be summed up with three elements: a hero succeeding in the face of incredible odds, and also complaining: “no matter what I do… I can’t this or that”. And the third: I don’t know if I can trust myself.

Almost succeeding, but never doing things long enough, hard enough, to actually succeed. Why? Because it would kill the story.

Also, I need enemies. I need disease. I need bugs… to fight heroically and almost succeed.

If the who doesn’t change, nothing can change
This morning I opened an email from a dude who reads my emails, reads my articles, and says he resonates with what I say.

In his latest email he said that we should talk. That we are the world’s two smartest people… so we should talk.

Love feedback or else… Make it a feedback loop…

The way to find the strait and narrow of happiness (See The Anna Karenina Principle) is to watch the feedback … and self-correct.

Yesterday I added integrity to the starting point measurements. so far all people I measured ranked on 3 out of 100. Wow.

I had an exchange of text messages with a guy, whose vibration was low, and that is all he asked for. His vibration.

He is a Polish person, part of the Starseed Global Alliance to save the earth or something. To me it sounds like a computer game… to him: it is reality.

You are infected with memes.

Humanity is infected with memes. The infection accelerated when the internet began, and is now almost 100% with smartphones in every hand.
But some people didn’t get infected. What is their secret?
OK, let’s start at the beginning.

What is a meme?
What is the mechanism of a meme?
What does a meme do?
Who/what benefits?
What counteracts?
What cures?

So, what is a meme?
